How to Install a MBRP Trail Can on a Polaris 9R
Переглядів 814Рік тому
ATTENTION: I forgot to film this bit but, there is a piece of rubber on the hook at the back of the stock can where sits on the chassis, when you pull the stock can out it will probably be stuck on the hook and and it will need to be removed and put on the MBRP can before it is installed into the sled. In this video I will walk you through how to install a MPRB can on a Polaris Matryx chassis. ...

I know this is different from what I usually do but I thought I would try something new. Expect to see more of this in the future but probably with sledding. The main reason I made this is because I have not uploaded in a while because you can only fix things if they are broken and nothing is broken. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see more videos like this. Thanks! (Sorry it i...

Replacing the Thermostat on my 2018 Polaris 800 RMK PRO
Переглядів 1,5 тис.Рік тому
In this video I replace the thermostat part #1206124 on my 2018 Polaris 800 RMK PRO AXYS 155 3" that has 1,200 miles because it was having overheating issues. If you have any questions please leave them in the comments. Thanks! #polaris #polarisrmkpro #polaris800 #sled #snow #kid #snowmobile #broken #fixed #thermostat #800 #offroad #video #fixityourself #volcom #truetothis #volcomsnow
1) Fact....the t-stat DOES need to be oriented parallel to centerline of sled. 2) There is a specific bleeding procedure you must follow, have sled at 45 degree angle while running. Service manual outlines process. Great video kid!!! :)
Thanks for the info!
Sounds like your drive axle bearing is bad
I was wondering what that sound was, it rarely makes that noise but sometimes it does.
On my Rockshox Domain dual crown shocks there a really small oil leakage on the coil side. Should i be worried
Your seals might need to be replaced, I would look into getting a service. Sorry for the late reply.
Clarence Carter 2 stroking.
Does it come tubeless
No it comes with tubes but it is tubeless ready and only requires stems and sealant to convert to tubeless.
Hello, I am 1.60, the bike will do for me
yes max is 1.65
Liked the idea of the second air bleed, also amazing control of your machine with a low body weight, you really throw that thing around, something I struggle with!
Glad you enjoyed the video! The key to controlling the sled when you are small is counter steering, so if you turn left it throws your weight to the right which gets the sled on edge easier. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the great video! Just had this happen on my 2018 RMK today and your video was really helpful! Keep up the great work!
Bro should be doing commercials for these! Also... lay off the Sunkist the lower half of your face is orange... unless that's a tan. 😂
It is a goggle tan from snowboarding 😅
@devonfixes my bad bro. The chick's love it so keep it up.
😮😮😮
Awesome work buddy!!! Very impressive keep it up👍
Did you have to drain coolant before you replaced thermostat and if so, how?
No I did not have to drain the coolant. Just when you pop the cap off the thermostat a little coolant will come out but not much. If you care you could throw a couple rags around the area.
Thanks dev you’re the man

Great work, Devon. I got the same sled used last season and mine is running too cold in the powder, so I think the previous owner may have taken the thermostat out and left it out. Your video is very helpful to see the process and to confirm that I got the right part. Thanks!
Glad I could help you! I am also very happy that it confirmed you had the right part, because it took me a lot of searching and calling around to figure out which part to buy.
Not sure if you cut it out of the video but, you should probably reuse the rubber from the original can on the new can (the rubber is removable) I think it applies for most aftermarket cans and you will find this pice of rubber at the lower back of the original Polaris can, nice video and safe riding! :)
You are correct about the rubber but unfortunately I had a UA-cam rookie mistake and forgot to film that part 😬, but I am getting better and I am glad you liked the video.
@@devonfixes all good man, great video anyway, keep em coming, helped my decision for the MBRP can for my new 9R 🙏😊
I love the color of the sled

cool
Very informative helpful video 👍👍👍🇺🇸💣☢️🇷🇺👍👍👍
Mine did not come out that easy
It was kinda hard to get it out but if you just use pliers and wiggle it a bit it should come right out.
