    I just did the starter on my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander SE. I did not remove the intake manifold, that would add a lot of time and work. What I did was remove the throttle body, removed the front bumper and then you can access the two starter bolts. After that you can slide the starter toward the pulleys on the engine. However, you made need to file a bit of the webbing down on the intake manifold but it will come out. It took me 2.5 hours to figure this out but I installed it very quickly and got it running again. I hope this helps everyone to remove those buried starters

    Im sending my kia forte to change the cooling coil. So far this is the most explained vid i have found. Can u also explain and make a vid of where that coolant goes? Bcos i can see 2 pipes there and the coolant in my car leaked in the cabin before my mechanic advised me to disconnect them and seal with a rubber type cork. I was shocked that coolant can leak in cabin and soaked the entire carpet (after i kept on refil)

    • @geo4reels481
      @geo4reels481 3 роки тому

      Thanks for comments. The coolant hoses connect to the heater core, which is similar to the evaporator core. Depending on where you live, you can bypass that core and loop the hose to the other. I live I tropical weather so I bypass those especially if they start leaking. Just disconnect the hoses on the fire wall and connect to each other or loop one back to the other and remove one hose.

      @@amirulshah8584 the heater core when bypassed will not affect the a/c evaporator core. They are completely isolated from each other. Only the heater core has coolant flowing through it. The evaporator has R134 refrigerant flowing through.
