How can one be in the center of infinity? Infinity is a concept man needs help understanding. It is hard to study something that takes longer than your lifetime to happen.

The fact that spacetime may be an 'illusion' created by our brains may yes, seriously hobble our understanding of a space without time and the infinite, but that doesn't mean it is not useful for our species and our survival in our own terms. But it does mean that we cannot seem to see phenomena that have no reference to human ideas about time, such as birth or life, or death, such as the infinity of the universe itself, and that seems to really hobble the physics.

Everything existing at the same time sounds like quantum mechanics where something happening in one part of the universe can instantly effect another part which could be billions of light years away. What's faster than the speed of light? The speed of thought perhaps. Which fits in with the brain theory. Maybe we are a part of someone's imagination or just so small that we can't see the big picture.

This is where aliens could conceivably endure long space journeys that humans would call impossible. Because we understand space travel to Alpha Centauri to take say 90,000 years from our standpoint, perhaps aliens are not daunted by such time frames because that is only a fraction of their lifespan and they therefore have found ways to negotiate long distances in space impossible for humans to tolerate. Our conception of and need for 'time' explains and defines our limitations.

Well, what I've never understood from a simple logical viewpoint how something could arise out of nothing. A child could figure this out. The Big Bang had to come from SOMEWHERE. It had to occur SOMEPLACE. That place is the ACTUAL universe, and the Big Bang only an episode within it. Now if the universe, i e this space where the Big Bang took place, is a timeless and endless space, there is no reason to think that infinite quadrillions of Big Bangs aren't occurring in the 'present' and in the 'past' and 'future' of this space, simultaneously! Scientists looking at the Big Bang as the actual universe are like meteorologists studying a storm and calling it the whole atmosphere. Its like looking at a play in a Broadway theater and defining it as the whole theater, when the play is only something taking place within that theater! This idea, that the Big Bang is only a phenomenon in the infinite 'ocean' of space makes things like Dark Energy and Dark Matter perhaps take on more meaning as these are indicative of forces not outside of 'our universe', but outside of 'our Big Bang' and acting on the matter within what we call the Big Bang, like tidal forces from the Pacific Ocean moving about a bit of flotsam. The problem is that Scientists use Mathematics to explain things these days instead of Science, this approach has allowed them to make up stuff like Dark Matter, Dark Energy and Black Holes. They've tried to record Dark Matter for over 40 years and nothing zero nada not a drop but they don't throw it out because they say it must be there because Galaxies would fly apart etc etc. Not only that but they say this stuff they've never recorded or observed makes up 95.5% of the Universe and Matter is 4.5%, now if someone said to you they understand 4.5% of the Universe and they've never detected the other 95.5% you'd say they were mad and off track, well that's exactly right, I mean Dark Energy is 72% and Dark Matter 23.5% Really. Tesla said it was wrong and they never talk about Electricity because they say it's there but it does nothing, what rubbish. Electricity is a Billion Billion Billion Billion times stronger than Gravity but they say that Gravity rules everything, such BS. This Gravity centric stuff of Einsteins has held Science/Cosmology back over 100 years now and until we accept we live in an Electric Universe where Plasma, the 4th state of Matter makes up 99.9% of our Universe. <sigh> If there is an 'edge' to the universe, there must be something OUTSIDE and BEYOND that 'edge'. We normally use 'universe' to refer, more or less unconsciously, to 'all known & unknown reality'. If there's an _edge_, then THE UNIVERSE simply continues past whatever 'borderline' we perceive that we are _interpreting_ as 'the edge'. This is more of a language/human psychology question than a scientific one. Start checking the assumptions behind the language, which says more about US than about THE REALITY. Then go back and check the data again.
