Great Video! Ive upgraded my 2018 Ram Classic to the 8.4 uconnect. I have the backup camera in the rearview mirror. When I put the truck in reverse the radio goes to a blue screen (no image). Can I jump a wires from the camera signal & return wires going to the rearview display and splice it into pin 31/32 having both displays in the rearview mirror and radio.

Hi! Thanks for this great post. I have a 2017. I followed everything you said except for the BCM. I'm now having an issue with my locks. My key fob won't open the doors or tailgate, neither will my door switches. When I unplug the tailgate my key fob and door switches work. I tried to find the settings in alfaOBD, but haven't had any luck.

Wonder if that is my issue. 2014 AC work great but later in a trip the AC was off. Tried to turn off bit climate button on screen was off. Tried reset, clear codes, unplug battery...in fact bo code popped at aitozone either. Thinking my module is shot now. Updates? Not gonna happen since Uconnect site is broken or updates not available. Fans work. Sad thing, these suckers cost from 400 to 1000 depending where you get them.

I'm thinking of getting this Truxedo CentryCT cover. Adding latches easy? Do you have part #'s and more importantly directions how to install them? Do you feel overall you like the cover?

What is the dimension between the inside edges of the rails you install for the cover? With the tailgate shut, could you slide a sheet of plywood over the tailgate and still have it fit down between the rails?

Maybe you can help me!! Trying like crazy to find where those wires FROM the jump seat connect. Got my '11 Ram used, and since I've had it, NONE of those plugs/jacks in the jump seat work. I have managed to track the wire harness coming out of the jump, down under the drivers front seat. If I remember right, there are 3 separate plugs out of the one harness. one is connected to another from the truck side, coming up from the floor, the other is laying there and the 3rd, which is the mini usb from the jump is laying there. I can find no other appropriate 'ends' for them to attach. Am I loosing my mind? Or likely that maybe this truck was rebuilt and they put in a set of seats that just didn't match the original build? it's a simple radio with CD player, no touch, no nav, nothing fancy - ST model trim. Thanks!!

Hi M2.. I'm doing the radio swap on my 2014 1500 tradesman with MTC.. 7 speed fan. All work fine but no cold ac...just hot air.. Before was working fine. Nice and cold. Just checked and read all the forum notes and find out now that my havac module is for the 2500 and 3500 model 68105017AE... Like you said is that correct? Thats why my ac won't cool... Or is something else..? Do I need to get a 68268186AA model..? From 1500 ram or from a 2018 1500 ram... Any suggestions appreciated.. Aside note. I was replacing the ac expasion valve.. Thinking that may be bad... And still ac wont work no cold... Compressor clutch engages fine no cut offs.. Install gauges and there's presure on both lines low and high... Not sure if is due to the swap I did or of the radio or just some broke on the ac system... Any ideas... .. Thank you so much for all your help..

Awesome! I'm thinking of upgrading from the 5inch uconnect radio to the UAS with android auto. Would i be able to install a Uconnect radio from a 2015+ ram on my 2014 1500? If so, what special modifications would i need to do? I found a UAS radio for $2000 and i also found one used on eBay for $800. Any advice?

In regards to these controllers.. do you need to match it to the year the radio came out? Say have 2015 ra4 needs the original hvac controller or newer model? And a 4c would only work with the newest model ?68366552AA ..Or how does it work? There seems to many part numbers
