Today I discovered The Turtles and it seems they're a band of their own. I gues that's where I am going next in this rabbit hole.

I’m 65. I would have never imagined the two main guys from The Turtles would have hooked up with the legendary Frank Zappa. Then(~1973) I listened to the 1971 live recording of The Mothers at Fillmore East!

I feel like this is his best musical era… I get get my teeth into this era. I can’t get on with all the Freeform avant garde nonsense stuff.
