Fraternity of Man - Fraternity of Man FULL ALBUM
The Fraternity of Man were an American blues rock and psychedelic rock group from the 1960s. They are most famous for their 1968 song "Don't Bogart Me", which was featured in the 1969 road movie Easy Rider.[1] The original members included three musicians from Lowell George's band The Factory - Richie Hayward (later of Little Feat), Warren Klein, and Martin Kibbee - who joined Elliot Ingber from the Mothers of Invention and Lawrence "Stash" Wagner.[2] Blues leads were handled by Ingber, and psychedelic leads were played by Klein, including "Oh No I Don't Believe It" (widely attributed to Ingber due to his association with the Mothers). The band broke up after recording two albums.

Wow
Excellent, thanx
Ein wahnsinns Konzert. Herzlichen Dank fürs teilen 😃👍👍👍🙋♂️
WOW, Sax player is amazing. Love me some Captain Beefheart.
As jaw dropping as ever.
I wonder what Frank would think of our current state?
Love this version of call any vegetable
Stupid
The captain makes me smile. Not sure why. Maybe because his music and lyrics make absolutely no sense to anyone but him and he couldn't care less.
❤
Is there footage of the full concert anyone???
I loved when they did Billy the Mountain!
I don't think there is video footage of the mothers doing that song unfortunately.
@@guitarheroplayer-fs5js not live footage
@@lespaul1755 What do you mean? is there a studio video?
@guitarheroplayer-fs5js yeah I googled it
@guitarheroplayer-fs5js Google billy the mountain video
Just incredible... Such original music. NOTHING touches them
Zappa actually looks embarrassed ?
Turtles Eddie & Floyd, Mothers, Zappa
It was Flo not Floyd. Florescent Leach and Eddie.
Didn't realize that the captain was so adept at the mouth harp. Singing isn't bad either.
Great music
drug induced claymation
Einer der besten Sänger mit zappa
Today I discovered The Turtles and it seems they're a band of their own. I gues that's where I am going next in this rabbit hole.
Listen to The Mothers Live at Fillmore. That was the album I was weened on.
Is this really supposed to be the "tragic band"? It's crazy but it still sounds good to my ears
I feel enlightened
Flo and Eddie were astonishingly good singers.....listen to how high Frank makes them sing on Latex Solar Beef....mind blowing
Even the Tragic Band made magic.
I’m 65. I would have never imagined the two main guys from The Turtles would have hooked up with the legendary Frank Zappa. Then(~1973) I listened to the 1971 live recording of The Mothers at Fillmore East!
I agree, who wouldn't ever think of that? They are kind of slapstick comedy, if you think about it, and Frank Zappa always had people try to make them laugh. He loves to laugh He got his hands-on these 2 guys and rocked it out more rock and roll than mother's sound. Which I also love.I love it all
The album I was weened on.
Maximus fantasticus love it 👍
First heard him in '72. His playing is what convinced me that the Blues is the music I love the most.
Great Album - In my collection for many years and still great👍
Sounds utterly chaotic but as funky as hell.
Captain can make with saxophone a real rock music.
Who are all those musicians . Anybody ??
The Captain with some rock band. Worth watching but ..
Man I wish I could see more of Jeff simmons
Please don’t get rid of this
This show used to be uploaded but they got rid of it, thank you for uploading again!
I wasn’t at this one, but one with the same band and material the following May, which I wrote about here: gregsandell.blogspot.com/2018/03/remembering-frank-zappa-and-mothers-in.html
and Trout Mask was right around the corner!
nobody knew what was coming. Probably.
What .. a bunch… of NOISE!!!
Thats some mean mouth harp playing by the captain. Frankly I didn't think he had it in him.
You typed the exact same comment that I was going to. His singing isn't half bad either.
How does it feeel. To be driven away from your own steering wheel ?
When Flo & Eddie got down to business instead of burlesque, they were spectacular.
I feel like this is his best musical era… I get get my teeth into this era. I can’t get on with all the Freeform avant garde nonsense stuff.
So good to see footage of this amazing time.
what a great vacuum commercial
now that is funny. I like the bit when the old guy comes up to the captain while he is singing at the end and surprises beefhart with the cup
Sublime❤
Cool! I was there! Too bad the setlist was very short, but it was worth it!
The reason Captain Beefheart is such a genius is that he always had musicians whom interpreted his vision perfectly
100% dope AF and totally NTM footage. Much-appreciated, LA CREAM.
The Turtles, Flo and Eddie on lead vocals. Blows my mind
