No they should not trade him. He can be your playaction, sweeps etc. But how can you say he wasn't productive and he had 6 TDs and 959 yards with a trash line. Can you imagine him having a line like Phi or B more? Could of easily had 1500 to 2K yards. These RBs isn't trash, their lines are. Don't understaff your O line. Why is this so hard to understand. Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright are the starting tackles, if the Bears can aquire Trey Smith then the first draft pick should be Tyler Booker. Pick 39 should be Grey Zabel and the second round two pick should be Deone Walker. Pick 72 should be Ollie Gordon. That would make the starting offensive line Braxton Jones left tackle, Tyler Booker left guard, Grey Zabel center, Trey Smith right guard, Darnell Wright right guard. No team is going to give up draft capital for a guy making as much as he is. Not in a million years. It isn't that he is a bad player, but teams would rather draft a rb late and save money.

I thought adding Swift was an improvement over Herbert and Johnson but he's an average RB at best. The issue the Swift has a dead cap hit of $14 million. It's going to be tough to move him. I would really like the Bears to draft Treveyon Henderson.

We should get a 4 or a 5 for him. I don’t mind Swift, but he’s not very consistent. Ashton Jeanty is a complete game changer. He is a dynamic and complete player. Catches the ball effortlessly and can easily get 100 yards on 10 carries. He’s better than Jamyr Gibbs all day long!! He is a freakin stud, reminds me a little bit of Walter….

Loving the content. I don’t completely disagree with mock draft but I would do things a little differently. So here’s mine, I’ll start off with Free Agency. #1. Do whatever you need to do to sign Trey Smith away from the Chiefs. #2. Sign Trent Brown (Bengals) to backup Darnell Wright and sure up our depth. #3. Bring back The Mack Daddy Khalil Mack with the money you would’ve paid Keenan Allen. If that doesn’t work go after Josh Sweat (Philly) or Chase Young (Saints). #4. Try to resign Tevin Jenkins to a team friendly 2-3 year deal with heavy incentives based on him staying healthy. #5. Sign Safety Javon Holland from Miami. Ok now to the draft: 1. I would trade back just you did (no further back than pick #18-19) and land another 2nd rounder. 2. 1st pick I’m picking up Tyler Booker if Tevin isn’t re-signing, if Tev does re-sign then go after DT either Walter Nolen or Kenneth Grant. 3. Pick #39 go after best Edge available probably Ezrarauku from Boston College or Landon Jackson will probably be the best ones left on the board. 4. Pick #41 Go RB! Hopefully either TreyVeyon Henderson from OSU, obviously Hampton if he is still available and or Kaleb Johnson out of Iowa. 5. The pick from the trade back in the 1st round pick up Tez Johnson or another speedy slot guy with good hands. 6. Trade back up into the 3rd! Give up a 3rd next year plus a 6th and maybe a later pick this year if you have to. Grab a Center! Whether that’s Zabel, Mbow, or preferably Jared Wilson out of Georgia. 7. #149 grab the best G available for depth hopefully Kendra is on the board or maybe the G from NC Willie Lumpkin or something like that. And if you have another pick after that hopefully you can go after TE Jaylin Conyers (Texas Tech) with the last pick if he’s still available. And next year Go after LT with our 1st pick! LB immediately after and maybe another DT, EDGE or TE! Keep up the good work Kieq! Be blessed!

Ben Johnson didn't want him on the Lions and nothing has changed. He doesn't want him on the Bears. Won't be surprised if Swift is traded for a low level draft pick.

Look at what Swifts yrds per carry average before he came to the Bears. Had Philly not done the tush push you could add an additional 4-5 TD’s when he was in the Eagles.
