A few weeks ago I did some hedge planting at the reserve with two friends from Church. The idea behind the hedge planting is to create a natural boundary between two areas of the reserve while also providing good habitat to birds and insects. The plants used were bare root hedge plants ordered from Hedge Nursery and were a Hawthorn based pack. The pack had Hawthorn, Crabapple, Dogrose, Hazel and Field Maple. Hope you enjoy the video!!
