      No, the color will not change. The product was developed in Canada over 30 years ago and has a long track record of being salted.

      I can imagine driving over it would be a fantastic source of microplastics.

      It doesn't mix with Aquasol

    • @rubberresurfacing
      @rubberresurfacing 7 місяців тому

      @@DragantanWoW It isn't made from plastic so no microplastics created. As a matter of fact, driving over it doesn't do anything to the particles. It is very tough material and can even stand up to snow plows.

    • @rubberresurfacing
      @rubberresurfacing 7 місяців тому

      The downside is you'll have a really durable surface that doesn't give you a reason to spend a bunch of money repairing and replacing other surfacing options in the future. So if you like to spend unnecessary money, this isn't for you. 🤣

      It is made from EPDM rubber and doesn't leech any toxins. It doesn't break down due to high temps or UV either.

    Can this be installed on a driveway in upstate NY? Will plowing, snow blowing, ice and snow wreck it?

    • @rubberresurfacing
      @rubberresurfacing 8 місяців тому

      Hi, yes - this can be installed in Upstate NY. It was developed even further north in Canada so it is made for harsh cold weather. Plowing and slow blowing will not damage it.

    Is it hot to the touch?

    • @rubberresurfacing
      @rubberresurfacing 3 роки тому

      In areas like Arizona it might feel hot for less than a second due to the extreme sun exposure, but after that not at all. For asphalt, the heat stays, while for the Rubber it cools from underneath which makes it cool to walk on.

    What iss the advantage of rubber stone?

    • @rubberresurfacing
      @rubberresurfacing 4 роки тому

      There are many advantages of Rubber Stone. The biggest advantage is flexibility. Since Rubber Stone can be laid on top of any hard surface, you don´t have to fix the cracks as well. Since Rubber Stone bonds to the surface so well using our polyurethane binder, we have very few cases of repairs. To clean the rubber you basically just have to pressure wash it since it is porous and it would only require a re-roll every 3-5 years depending on the weather conditions in your area. The lifespan is about 15+ years. If you are interested in knowing more or even locate a Rubber Stone Dealer in your area, please visit our website: coveryourugly.com/ Thanks!
