If you wanted a stiffer base shaper, you could iron on a stiff interfacing.

Suede is VERY durable if protected and well maintained. Saphir Invulner is the top of the line waterproof spray that is used on bespoke suede shoes. A suede brush is also important for maintaining the nap (they have soft wire bristles in the inner portion of the brush). The Saphir Gommadin suede eraser is great for spot stain removal. And their Omnidaim suede cleaner is best if you ever have to do a deep shampoo of the entire bag (you can’t do wet spot cleaning… use the eraser for spot cleaning). I spray my suede shoes with the Invulner spray twice a year. Water… and red wine!… just beads off and doesn’t stain the suede. Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
