What great pictures. I too enjoyed the little dance off. Lol. My husband always says he wants to go on a cruise til I remind him he gets seasick and also sick just riding in a car. I cannot imagine being stick in a stateroom a majority of the time.

Good morning Trudy. Nice paper haul. I adore LHOTP. I didn't care for it as a child but definitely as an adult. Disappointed to learn that Karen Grassle had to fight so hard to earn equal pay and some of the history of the television show but still the message always came through on the shows. They handled some tough subjects. I was surprised to learn it was Rose that had to convince her Mom to publish her journals. Laura didn't think anyone would be interested. I also learned that it was actually Al"MAN"zo. Isn't that weird. I have been stashing things for a LH journal.

I love the Laura Ingalls Wilder book! I was a huge fan of her books back in the day. 💖

Trudy I would love to see you do a live. I just finished the journal you gave me and am starting to post pictures over on instagram. Love it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know you have cousins in California I hope they are all ok. What a very sad week over there. My Uncle used to be a big wig at the Griffith Park Zoo and often was on some of the talk shows with Betty White and also the gal from Man from Uncle. They used to have a home in Glendale so many of the areas affected I have been to.

Trudy I could have told you the dates on the photos just by the hairstyles. My sister's who were born in the early 50s had similar styles. Loved the photo book. Remember when our parents carried actual photos in the their wallets? Years from now most of what is in our phones will just be lost. That is actually what started me on this journey. I wanted to create scrapbooks for the grandkids as none of them have them. I still have 4 to go.

This is pretty and I really like the format. I've never done a December Daily. I can't imagine doing one more thing at that time. Good for you! Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas and have an awesome 2025!!!! ❤

How fun is this! ❤ my mom always decorated for the holidays. And so did her family. With whatever they could Afford. My mom and I use dollar tree decorations too! When my mom was little, they used the colored tin foil collected from candy all year round. To wrap around the branches of a tree branch. Then Pop popcorn and string it up as garland. Mom said the tree was beautiful. Thank god for the blessings in our lives. And you’re a blessing too! God bless ❤

Trudy I love this. Don't ever apologize for being sick. Your Uncle looks so debonair and what a treasure! The fact that he used what he worked for to help others is just so amazing. My first born grand baby turned 16 on Dec 17. I agree, each grandchild has their own thing that makes them special but the first one had all of your attention and taught you what it meant to be a grandma. You cannot replace that. I have a picture of my grandson where I am laying on the couch and he is asleep on top of me. It is my favorite because they used to call me the baby whisperer. If he needed to nap they gave him to me because I woukd hum in his ear and he would fall asleep. Loved this little story of your birthday month. I wish I could give you the gift of banishing all the negative stuff that comes up for you. And I hope in your book of the story of your life you no longer have to look back at the past but can rewrite your future. Love you girl!
