I just saw that you're selling this one.. Did you get a different machine? What didn't you like about this one?
@bossturbo Trying to sell it, thinking of cat 265 or kubota svl97-2. I found a place that makes a swing door for the kubota which i would prefer. I hate the overhead door. Hits me in the head, i have to slouch down
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 how tall are you? I'm 6'2" I sat in a 97 on the lot and same thing with the door, but after adjusting the chair softer it went down a couple of inches and gave plenty of clearance. The real question will be if the lower chair "bottoms out" while working.

Looks like you may want to go back and read the installation instructions again for this product. Appears to be setup for failure
Which product?
I just watched the armtec installation video, it was done according to the directions
do you have 1/4" ft pitch on that so it can properly drain or what do you do for stuff like this?
Also, could one put a tee that is going vertical where it comes to surface level and use that for where the gutter can drain to as well? or is that not recommended
Its level until in comes out from foundation, since its under slab level its just like natural ground water flowing through, not the same as a sewer line
So level all around the foundation till it’s leaving the foundation? Just want to confirm
@dylenspain-brist8216 yes, because your foundation sub grade for footers ect is always dug level so the drain tile lays right on that level grade around foundation
Great video. Thank you. We have dug a trench to get at a small crack on the foundation wall. We came across that our weep tile had cracked and broke open, and the big open hole is filled with gravels. Our house is about 40 years old. Should we cut out the broken portion and replace it with a new pipe, or just leave it , for we are backfilling with gravels again?
I would at least fix the broken section while you have it dug up
I'm glad I'm not the only one still calling them Perk-a-pillars
I’m getting paid 19 bucks an hour to pretend like I’m watching videos like this while I’m actually watching memes.
This video was took at my work must’ve been the demo day we had about a month ago.
Your right, I had one of my sons with me. Ate mission BBQ with everyone
Yea I was gonna say, looked like the Myersville location. I came to that demo day with wife and son. Loved that mission BBQ. Got a couple nice hats and tried out the 255. Really liked the machine.
How are you liking the rifle? I am in a similar endeavor now also considering these 2 options as well as a weatherby mark v. I’m leaning towards the browning
I got no complaints, can't wait to go elk hunting with it. Weatherby are nice too!
These 265's are amazing. There's guarding packages that can be added to seal the cab, and cover the drive hoses, tilt cylinder covers, etc. It appears this machine has no guarding package.
It was presold to someone else, they just used it as a demo for a day at the dealer
Should be standard
@@timchambers9775 i agree
@@timchambers9775 would just drive the base price of the machine up.
Haven’t sat in one yet, but I see they still use that crappy door design. I haven’t sat in the seat yet, but the 299’s felt like I was operating a coffin. No room between the pods. You didn’t mention if they still use that bastard floating front axle, unless I missed it. I do hope they’ve addressed the amount of pressure each joystick has. The old ones were stiff as hell. And I couldn’t see as you looked down while seated if you can see the heel of the bucket or not, that was another complaint I got on Cat/Bobcat. You can’t see the amount of material you got when backdragging. Maybe Fabick will get some in one day, I’d like to see it in person.
So yes there is no more floating front idler, it's a solid frame, still has torsion suspension but shouldn't do the rocking when grading ect.., I could see most the bucket don't remember about the heel of it. Cab is wider
These cabs are much roomier than the previous models. What's wrong with this door design? The door on these new machines can be just lifted right off the hinges for easy removal, similar to a Jeep door which is awesome. Not sure what you're talking about when you say floating front axle, do you mean the front idler? If so, it is a solid frame front idler design now. These also have a stiffened torsion axle design front and back.
@@adambell2068 was hoping for a door like Tak or Kubota. No need to have to remove the door. If the sun is in your eyes, or water on the window, in a Tak/Kubota, you slide the door open, get your task done, and close it. Also, if that boom is barely up on a Cat, you’re stuck. Can’t open that door. Now if you remove it, and it starts raining in on ya, “oh wait, gotta go install the door”. I was hoping for a better design, that’s all. I’m a door closed operator. I don’t like all that noise, dust. And If they’ve improved the front idlers by making them solid, then grading, unloading pallets should be better. I disliked how the old front idlers were designed. Everytime you got a bucket of material, curled up or lifted, the machine would nose plant. So I’m interested in running one, some day. Hope that clears my questions up.
09:13 what was that, flying above you?

@@digginandbuildinwv7012 😄oh, I see
Took delivery of mine n April 19. Also got the HM316 mulcher and boy does it at. Awesome machine.
Good deal
Do you have any video footage or more details of it? I’m really interested in the 265, but there’s practically zero footage of one actually working that isn’t a cat add.
@robkenny1529 no, they are not widely available yet, I'm supposed to get one some time soon
How dose it run that mulcher? Dose it have any over heating problems?
Last year I bought the x bolt pro carbon fiber in 7prc ...I like the rogues but I've always owned brownings...they knocked it out the park with the pro model.
Got both in 7prc sold browing did not like it trigger bad...didn't like at all ..i.would day firece..was 10 times better. .49 groups . B had inch or inch half .
This was my browning at 300 yds photos.app.goo.gl/4oL5FzbeR2QhFc5UA
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 not bad mine shoots 3 inches at 500
Good farm machine . Nothing like a Cat or Deere
Sure does look like my bobcat t66
Kubota is honestly way better now. Svl series is superior in ever aspect especially service accessible design. Cab door and fuel tank, both underrated design options makes kubots Svl series superior. Though I do like the Cats air conditioning seats.😮
I like kubota
lol you guys dick ride Kubota over a stupid ass door 😂
Not a chance. Not saying the Kubota is a terrible machine or anything, but these new Cat's are the cat's meow! That sliding front door on the Kubota is impossible to keep from rattling and drives me absolutely crazy. Got in a brand new svl 75-3 to run around the yard the other day and the door rattles like crazy.
True my new on rattled at first they are supposed to PDI the door and adjust it. But it's easy, mine shut solid now that I adjust stuff and ran out the bumpers.
Great video subscribed
Lets see it working and an impression of it. And loading the Int"l dump box what clearance is there. Perkins engine that's a problem because in Minnesota one can not find a mech to work on it, even if ASV is based with factory in northern Minnesota and ASV used Perkins heavily in the early years so lot of those machine around. The big question; can you open the window door to get out with an attachment a little ways up in the air?????
So I haven't gotten one yet, did sign sales agreement though so hopefully not too long,. So salesman said Cat now owns Perkins so they are thier engines. I have perkins motor in my doosan 140. I'm confident Cat will take care of me. You can raise attachment up 10-12" and still open door.
It's not a Perkins branded engine. It's a Cat branded engine built through the Perkins engine line. Cat support, Cat parts, Cat technicians to work on it. And yes, the loader arms or attachment can be raised up several inches up off the ground now and the door will open finally!. Also the door just picks up off the hinges easily if you want to take the front door completely off which is awesome. Also, all of the side sliding windows inside the cab can also be easily removed for cleaning.
This is the first ctl that’s nearly perfect except those fkn hoses all exposed. That should have been standard.
I questioned that intensely, thier response was that it is 6 wire hoses and as far as thier dealerships no one has cut one from cleaning tracks or snags or rocks. At least you can purchase the covers, I'm going to insist on getting them for free.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 I’d definitely work that out before writing a check or signing anything. Make em throw in a demo windshield or seat upgrade. The pricing didn’t seem bad for CAT compared to the 299d3. Awesome video! Kick ass.
@morromk7538 so it does have the polycarbonate windshield and the heated ventilated seat. High flow xps. $99k. The one I demoed was standard flow, standard seat,.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 the 265 blows everyone out of the water with performance per hp and weight. Deere is coming out with their new P series ctl I wonder how they will stack up. I don’t think bobcat has anything like this not nearly as capable without more hp
They have three levels of what they call protection packages. If you get the top tier one the hoses are covered and it was only like a 500 option when I ordered my 255
Why anyone would want a browning over a fierce is crazy.
For the reasons I mentioned in the video.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 to each their own I guess. The force is a much better firearm.
@matthewkyle6939 I'm sure I'll end up buying one, I do like them, might go 6.5prc with it. It's all good!
Honestly the only thing holding me back from browning is the trigger, I can’t stand browning triggers and they hamstrung their 7prc offerings to mostly 22 inch barrels. I feel like they did that on purpose to sell more 6.8 westerns.
@@matthewkyle6939 I believe so as well
I was supposed to have mine two weeks ago!
What area are you in? If I sign papers I'm told I can have one in May
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 central US. Not only are my paper signed, but the check has been written for three months.
Cool looking CAT for sure!
Definitely impressed for 75hp machine
You lucky man you ❤
It is a sweet ride, I'm between it and a kubota 97-2.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 97-2 weighs alot more and it takes DEF and its kubota so it feels like made in china compared to cat and bobcat
Hey Travis, I appreciate the video. You did a great job explaining things. I like the way you used the stainless screw to hold the pipe to the caps. Thanks, Sam
good review
Thank you for taking the time to make this review.
Awesome review. I want a HX620 for highway use but with a S13 engine/transmission. Was really searching for a good user review for this truck.
I think you'd like it.
WV? Anywhere near Harpers Ferry?
Near Romney
Great choice. The feirce rage models are good but the rest are over $ piles
Hands down the xbolts are better hunting rifle.
Excellent sir. Better than the Cat videos for sure. I don't need a 30 minute long commercial; I just want to see how it works.
I ran both the new cat and new case and would take the Cat as it seems to be better engineered. Cat also has segmented sprocket which is nice for replacement.
Theres alot to like about the cats
M CARBO makes a replacement spring for the trigger. You still can adjust the trigger to your liking but it allows you to go below 2 lbs. I have one on my Xbolt and its pull weight is 1.3lbs
Good to know
So catching up on your Videos…Fleet appears to be a Cat D3/ 420XE/ Doosan 175 & 140 / this Case CTL, and you have mentioned a Case Roller/compactor and your sweet 2019 International Tandem… did I miss anything?? For a small business that is a nice fleet!
I have a kubota m71 tractor also.
Would your Doosan not run the Mulcher? Or did the rental only offer the pair??
Wow! CAT 420 & D3!! And and a great looking tandem!! Good taste friend!! (Now go make some $$$🤑)
Went back and watched your Case 750M review… could not believe the size diff in final drives and the hose route and dirt protection and blade design on the Cat over the Case… not a big deal to a rental or short term lease… but as owner operator wow!!
Why not do a tour of all your equipment when it is all together, that has gotten high views for other youtube contractors in the past.
I'd have to force it, I don't think I've ever had all on one job before😃 maybe this year?
the equipment does not have to be all in one place; you can film it where it is comment on it where it is or voice over the film and patch every thing together. Also a history of each machine you have owned and some comment about, it through out the years, that should be a long show. That should get a lot views and subscribers. @@digginandbuildinwv7012
If your paying me to use chainsaws to cut it all up that would cost more, the advantage to this is it can be done anytime of year unlike burning which I don't do at all anymore. Since I made this video we realized we had it in the wrong hydraulic mode and it goes much faster now.
I was going to ask?? From other videos… it seemed from the sound the pressure(speed) was too low!
Still better then cutting it up by hand ? Doing it this way... Does it cost the more or less then all costs for time & equipment to do it by hand with chain saws, burn, etc. PROS & CONS to each method ??? Very curious...
Very well done video... You seem like a good person / contractor... Thanks...
Nice truck
15 foot box what is the cubic yard capacity with the side boards? How many miles have you put on it in the 5 years? 505 HP 1850 torque, it must pull the tag trailer with big excavator with ease, even up a hill. I would like to get a new dump truck, but my I know my owner operator operation could not make the payments on it so I keep my 32 year old ford FT900 going.
I'd guess it's a 15-17 yard bed without measuring exactly. I have about 28k miles on it so far. Not broke in till 50k I'm told it'll run even better then. Pulls very well. So I am a very small operation but have learned how to maximize profits 24 years. I have 2 guys that work for me part time and my wife and kids help me do all the septic installs.. I happened to get some really good paying jobs in recent years. I only do residential or development work but do alot of different things. I could just as easily still been running my 96 ih 2574 with L10 if things didn't work out like they did. But FYI truck price was $164k, $2400.00 a month for 7 years, more than what I got in my house!
On that Case 340 tracked skid steer could you see the cutting edge from the seat with out leaning forward? Is it a long bottom bucket or standard? That truck today would have another $75K tacked onto it so $240K, prices are nuts. I go to Machinery Trader and look at new dump trucks most $275K to $300K; some more $$$, most expensive listed today is one at $369K must include FET, plus the sales tax for me that would be $396K. Not many under $225K [for a new big high HP - high torque engine truck, in full size class 8 truck frame], mostly the small class 8 trucks - medium duty trucks like my FT900 are at $225K. Then new one ton nice gas pickups are just under $80K and a diesel is $100K. Life goes on. Big thank you for replying.
@LAKESIDEBOB1 standard bucket I believe and yes I can see cutting edge without leaning forward. The longer I've had it the more I like it
What area are you from if you don't mind?
East end of the Iron Range, Northeast Minnesota@@digginandbuildinwv7012
The lack of consistency adjusting the trigger in and out doesn’t really scream quality control to me. In however many turns and then back out should yield the same result each time in my mind. If it’s different every time it seems comparable to a cheap scope that doesn’t dial back to zero. One of two things are happening, your either bending something and in that case the adjustment should dead-end before damaging internals, or like you mentioned it removes tension from a spring. Either the tension will return as it sits for a long period or this is a “controlled” destruction of a component. The browning is a nice gun and if it shoots for you don’t let anyone tell you otherwise but I’m still not sold on their trigger. Cheers
Understood, I'll check the trigger again to see if it's changed. Like I said I'm not a gun expert, but I like to test out what I hear, so far this hack you could say has worked out. Thanks for the input!
They tell me you run it wide open because of the Def system too keep heat in them so they don't screw up !!! I'm always wide open with mine !!!
Interesting, just seems odd, because allmy other machines I've not been told that. I've been told not to let them idle long which makes since.
Quick thumbs down on this one. You took a gun made in Japan over one fully made in the USA…I bought the rogue this fall in 7mm mag…works and shoots flawlessly. Best of luck 👍
I don't expect everyone to agree, the fact I narrowed it down to those 2 tells you how much I really liked the fierce. The miroku barrels out of Japan have been excellent in my experience. It was simply some of the features that the fierce should have at that price.
1 point I failed to emphasize is you can get a 3 lug bolt and 3 position safety on a Fierce rifle but it was $1k more.
can you just replace the trigger spring with a lighter wt spring like you can in a Tikka?
@derekmcmurry4263 probably but I don't think you need too unless you want a really hair trigger.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 Depends on what a hair trigger is. I've been using 1 pound triggers on all of my hunting rifles which are Rem 700s or clones until I got Tikkas and Sakos. Many of my tikkas are very close to one pounds with the replacement spring which works for me. After years of shooing this way, 1.5 pounds takes too long for the trigger to break
Nice clean job. The only thing I would like better is solid pipe. Easier to pitch the whole run correctly and wont crush as easily. Thanks.
Solid pipe does not work with this product. The idea is that the way will flow into the perforated pipe which carries the water away. Solid pipe does not allow water to travel. Also, there are perforated pipes that do not crush so easily, depends on quality of product.
That’s awesome saver by self auto correct levels and slope to get job done in time . Old days is always big drama trying to getting it level and slope correct by using eye and level ruler ..
Yes I rarely use a transit other than just to establish a starting point, it's great!
