I just bought 2 2018 HX620. They both have about 300k. They are in good shape. They have been in the oilfield in Texas the whole time. They do have little things that have broke on them that probably should not have. For example, door latch on the passenger side just broke one day. The middle dash where all the switches are is loose and about to fall off. Hoods are both cracked at the top towards the windshield on each corner. The door latch bezels fall off consistently and the replacements don't fit properly. The parts for these things are super expensive. I've had to replace the dryer pop off valve and they told me the kit was higher than the valve assembly thta was 180. I needed a new inner hood extender for the right front fender and it cost 1800. Its just a piece of plastic. Now I need the air charge cooler bushings and they are unavailable. Well let me explain. Thye have them but they are the wrong ones. They have a packaging problem going on somewhere. This is according to Roberts Truck Group in Odessa Tx. So now I have a truck I have not been able to move for almost 2 months because of this issue. It's Feb 6, 2025. Trucks can make up to 1300 per day. So do the math.
@bluedemon79 Well parts for anything nowadays are expensive, but I've had mine since November 2019. Zero problems other than def sensor and I'm on rough roads all the time and used it for off rd hauling on several occasions. However there is a difference when it is an employee using it or small time owner contractor like myself. I see neglect on 95% stuff used i look at. Fix it up, treat her right and it'll be just fine, its not the trucks fault if it was abused and neglected.
nice truck man
What’s the price?
@jorgericky standard flow 95k, high flow with xps 105k. I made an offer to the salesman last week of 90k for sf but haven't heard a word, I've also been eyeing a kubota 97-3 simply because of price but i know cat is the superior machine
Thank you,Iim looking to buy to clear my land ,but I am going to take someone with me that has run them for a living befeore I purchase.
Price in Puerto Rico, 220 k now special price 210k. Good to know when you said is a “work horse” thank you. Happy new year!
@mrssantiago894 Thanks for watching, I had friends helping out in Puerto Rico after Hurricane few years ago, wish i could have went, i hear its beautiful!
@ hurricane María was like a nuclear bomb after leave the Island. This hurricane only made landfall in Dominica and PR. If you come to PR visit my small town Naranjito is a beautiful town perched in the central mountains range . PR is amazing and offers a wide variety options to do.
Logged in (which I rarely do) to say thank you. Took me hours to find what you said in 15 seconds about the drain pipe being level or below the footing. Thank you so much
Hopefully Case is taking notes on this video
What was your OTD price?
@@TylerDuncan-s2n high flow 100k, standard 96k
Ive been told by Sitech that it will be iff by .5' over 100'
@tomcander3669 i had issues the last time i used the grade assist, it ran my grade up hill 18" in 100 ft? Got to figure that out. It did good before
@digginandbuildinwv7012 exactly...it doesn't do what this guy thinks it does
@tomcander3669 well, i am that guy and it did as advertised that day
Burrito is best
Good choice, that Browning pro is a super nice rifle. Not only are they pleasing to the eye they are feature rich.
Way more cons than pros. Plus, all of the cons seem to be just dumb and stupid things. So paying extra for a better- engineered machine is worth it. One huge con not mentioned here is the Fiat engine. Cat, Deere, and Komatsu engines are built specifically for their machines. Fiat has a long history of building everything they make as if it were made in....Italy. Beautiful country, crappy machine build quality except I guess for Ferrari race cars. Can't push much dirt with one of them though.
How is the 7prc to shoot from a light rifle? Unpleasant? Can you track target in scope throughout or recoil too high for that?
@TheEdward234 Its pretty good, but i do have a banish 30 silencer that takes away most recoil
I prefer mel rol
Looks like good quality work.
@@Hash2009 thank you
Also are you still doing a video on the trick to keep thin barrels shooting good after alot of shots?
@KorreMorse i will just been a busy spring and summer, but what i can tell you is that it has more to do with the heat of your gun powder than barrel.
Any update on the trigger pull weight? Did the weight stay at 2lbs 5 oz. Or did some tension come back? I spoke with mcarbo and they said they will have a spring for the x bolt 2 coming but didn't say when but it's on there radar
@@KorreMorse I'll have to check it
Ok I bought a x bolt 2 was going to try the same thing even though it's a different trigger was going to try it until someone has a reduced spring kit. So was wondering if it stayed the same on yours or not thanks
@KorreMorse i just bought an xbolt2 also the speed spr in 6.5prc, haven't touched trigger or shot it yet
I have the same exact picking up tomorrow I'll try the trigger trick soon and post results here unless you do it first lol
Trigger is heavy trick didn't do anything for me it's a different trigger I hope someone comes up with a fix
Thanks buddy👍🏽
The front door too close to the boon, if you engine goes out, you can't open the front door, have to go out the rear window, love Kubota doors,
@@GregoryRendon-l7i the door will open with the boom up 12", also all you have to do is unlatch the door and lift up, it come right off even from inside. So you only need to be able to open it a crack to get it up and off.
You can grease the extendaboom by extending it fully and spreading the grease by hand on the inner stick that’s how you I grease mine on my new holland it has a different style of extendable stick but I’ve run both styles of extendable sticks and it works on both
@loganvaillancourt4453 according to cat they don't want you to put regular grease on it as it collects dirt and will wear out the wear blocks quickly
We are fixing a crack.in wall and was recommened ro.use rock then sand then dirt for filtration. Is this stupid lol wouldnt sand drain into weeping time
@@StacyRavenFireHawk34 fix and seal crack first, then it should be fine
Thanks so much ❤❤@@digginandbuildinwv7012
where is the article you wrote? i would love to read that
@matthewrehak2574 i dont remember writing an article on anything, did i say that? Was going to do another video on the pencil barrels like on a kimber ascent
I just saw that you're selling this one.. Did you get a different machine? What didn't you like about this one?
@bossturbo Trying to sell it, thinking of cat 265 or kubota svl97-2. I found a place that makes a swing door for the kubota which i would prefer. I hate the overhead door. Hits me in the head, i have to slouch down
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 how tall are you? I'm 6'2" I sat in a 97 on the lot and same thing with the door, but after adjusting the chair softer it went down a couple of inches and gave plenty of clearance. The real question will be if the lower chair "bottoms out" while working.

Looks like you may want to go back and read the installation instructions again for this product. Appears to be setup for failure
Which product?
I just watched the armtec installation video, it was done according to the directions
Your delta ms is upside down the orange stripe goes up and it is supposed to curl across the footing
do you have 1/4" ft pitch on that so it can properly drain or what do you do for stuff like this?
Also, could one put a tee that is going vertical where it comes to surface level and use that for where the gutter can drain to as well? or is that not recommended
Its level until in comes out from foundation, since its under slab level its just like natural ground water flowing through, not the same as a sewer line
So level all around the foundation till it’s leaving the foundation? Just want to confirm
@dylenspain-brist8216 yes, because your foundation sub grade for footers ect is always dug level so the drain tile lays right on that level grade around foundation
Where will the water go after it gets in the drainage?
Great video. Thank you. We have dug a trench to get at a small crack on the foundation wall. We came across that our weep tile had cracked and broke open, and the big open hole is filled with gravels. Our house is about 40 years old. Should we cut out the broken portion and replace it with a new pipe, or just leave it , for we are backfilling with gravels again?
I would at least fix the broken section while you have it dug up
I'm glad I'm not the only one still calling them Perk-a-pillars
I’m getting paid 19 bucks an hour to pretend like I’m watching videos like this while I’m actually watching memes.
How can I get hired? Lol
This video was took at my work must’ve been the demo day we had about a month ago.
Your right, I had one of my sons with me. Ate mission BBQ with everyone
Yea I was gonna say, looked like the Myersville location. I came to that demo day with wife and son. Loved that mission BBQ. Got a couple nice hats and tried out the 255. Really liked the machine.
How are you liking the rifle? I am in a similar endeavor now also considering these 2 options as well as a weatherby mark v. I’m leaning towards the browning
I got no complaints, can't wait to go elk hunting with it. Weatherby are nice too!
These 265's are amazing. There's guarding packages that can be added to seal the cab, and cover the drive hoses, tilt cylinder covers, etc. It appears this machine has no guarding package.
It was presold to someone else, they just used it as a demo for a day at the dealer
Should be standard
@@timchambers9775 i agree
@@timchambers9775 would just drive the base price of the machine up.
Haven’t sat in one yet, but I see they still use that crappy door design. I haven’t sat in the seat yet, but the 299’s felt like I was operating a coffin. No room between the pods. You didn’t mention if they still use that bastard floating front axle, unless I missed it. I do hope they’ve addressed the amount of pressure each joystick has. The old ones were stiff as hell. And I couldn’t see as you looked down while seated if you can see the heel of the bucket or not, that was another complaint I got on Cat/Bobcat. You can’t see the amount of material you got when backdragging. Maybe Fabick will get some in one day, I’d like to see it in person.
So yes there is no more floating front idler, it's a solid frame, still has torsion suspension but shouldn't do the rocking when grading ect.., I could see most the bucket don't remember about the heel of it. Cab is wider
These cabs are much roomier than the previous models. What's wrong with this door design? The door on these new machines can be just lifted right off the hinges for easy removal, similar to a Jeep door which is awesome. Not sure what you're talking about when you say floating front axle, do you mean the front idler? If so, it is a solid frame front idler design now. These also have a stiffened torsion axle design front and back.
@@adambell2068 was hoping for a door like Tak or Kubota. No need to have to remove the door. If the sun is in your eyes, or water on the window, in a Tak/Kubota, you slide the door open, get your task done, and close it. Also, if that boom is barely up on a Cat, you’re stuck. Can’t open that door. Now if you remove it, and it starts raining in on ya, “oh wait, gotta go install the door”. I was hoping for a better design, that’s all. I’m a door closed operator. I don’t like all that noise, dust. And If they’ve improved the front idlers by making them solid, then grading, unloading pallets should be better. I disliked how the old front idlers were designed. Everytime you got a bucket of material, curled up or lifted, the machine would nose plant. So I’m interested in running one, some day. Hope that clears my questions up.
09:13 what was that, flying above you?

@@digginandbuildinwv7012 😄oh, I see
Took delivery of mine n April 19. Also got the HM316 mulcher and boy does it at. Awesome machine.
Good deal
Do you have any video footage or more details of it? I’m really interested in the 265, but there’s practically zero footage of one actually working that isn’t a cat add.
@robkenny1529 no, they are not widely available yet, I'm supposed to get one some time soon
How dose it run that mulcher? Dose it have any over heating problems?
Last year I bought the x bolt pro carbon fiber in 7prc ...I like the rogues but I've always owned brownings...they knocked it out the park with the pro model.
How is the 7prc with a light rifle? Is it bad to shoot? All the long range people keep telling me that it's a bad idea... Just trying to get a do it all rifle for hunting
Would like to know this too. Looking at one of these.

Good farm machine . Nothing like a Cat or Deere
Sure does look like my bobcat t66
Kubota is honestly way better now. Svl series is superior in ever aspect especially service accessible design. Cab door and fuel tank, both underrated design options makes kubots Svl series superior. Though I do like the Cats air conditioning seats.😮
I like kubota
lol you guys dick ride Kubota over a stupid ass door 😂
Not a chance. Not saying the Kubota is a terrible machine or anything, but these new Cat's are the cat's meow! That sliding front door on the Kubota is impossible to keep from rattling and drives me absolutely crazy. Got in a brand new svl 75-3 to run around the yard the other day and the door rattles like crazy.
True my new on rattled at first they are supposed to PDI the door and adjust it. But it's easy, mine shut solid now that I adjust stuff and ran out the bumpers.
@adambell2068 i found a place that makes a replacement swing out door for kubota which i would prefer. Skidsteerdoors.com
Great video subscribed
Lets see it working and an impression of it. And loading the Int"l dump box what clearance is there. Perkins engine that's a problem because in Minnesota one can not find a mech to work on it, even if ASV is based with factory in northern Minnesota and ASV used Perkins heavily in the early years so lot of those machine around. The big question; can you open the window door to get out with an attachment a little ways up in the air?????
So I haven't gotten one yet, did sign sales agreement though so hopefully not too long,. So salesman said Cat now owns Perkins so they are thier engines. I have perkins motor in my doosan 140. I'm confident Cat will take care of me. You can raise attachment up 10-12" and still open door.
It's not a Perkins branded engine. It's a Cat branded engine built through the Perkins engine line. Cat support, Cat parts, Cat technicians to work on it. And yes, the loader arms or attachment can be raised up several inches up off the ground now and the door will open finally!. Also the door just picks up off the hinges easily if you want to take the front door completely off which is awesome. Also, all of the side sliding windows inside the cab can also be easily removed for cleaning.
This is the first ctl that’s nearly perfect except those fkn hoses all exposed. That should have been standard.
I questioned that intensely, thier response was that it is 6 wire hoses and as far as thier dealerships no one has cut one from cleaning tracks or snags or rocks. At least you can purchase the covers, I'm going to insist on getting them for free.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 I’d definitely work that out before writing a check or signing anything. Make em throw in a demo windshield or seat upgrade. The pricing didn’t seem bad for CAT compared to the 299d3. Awesome video! Kick ass.
@morromk7538 so it does have the polycarbonate windshield and the heated ventilated seat. High flow xps. $99k. The one I demoed was standard flow, standard seat,.
@@digginandbuildinwv7012 the 265 blows everyone out of the water with performance per hp and weight. Deere is coming out with their new P series ctl I wonder how they will stack up. I don’t think bobcat has anything like this not nearly as capable without more hp
They have three levels of what they call protection packages. If you get the top tier one the hoses are covered and it was only like a 500 option when I ordered my 255
Why anyone would want a browning over a fierce is crazy.
For the reasons I mentioned in the video.

@matthewkyle6939 I'm sure I'll end up buying one, I do like them, might go 6.5prc with it. It's all good!
Honestly the only thing holding me back from browning is the trigger, I can’t stand browning triggers and they hamstrung their 7prc offerings to mostly 22 inch barrels. I feel like they did that on purpose to sell more 6.8 westerns.
