I first came to The Outer Banks in 1981 on a vacation with my family. I have been infatuated with the place ever since. I love it all, from the 4X4 beach up it Carova, down south to the Island of Ocracoke.
I decided to carry cameras around with me and try and bring the obx to those who love it as much as I do but can't be here every day.

One of the best beach accesses on The Outer Banks.
First thing I need to mention is that the crowd at Poor Richards is why I had to wait. The staff there is EXCELLENT. They were doing a phenomenal job serving a large crowd.
I went to the beach at the Bonnett Street beach access. I also went over to the sound off the Nags Head causeway. I had lunch at Poor Richards in Manteo.

I ventured a little farther south than normal to get away from the crowd. I visited Bodie Island Lighthouse and Outer Banks Fishing Pier. I spent the day on The Outer Banks ( Nags Head ) First stop Jeannettes Pier to watch some surfing. Second stop Nags Head pier. There were a couple of surfers there also and some stand up paddle boards. I meant I waited in line. The crowd was the cause for the wait. The staff did an excellent job serving a large crowd. I also ordered a meal that had to be fried. I eat there all the time. Thank you again for watching. The food was delicious 🤤

When we were down in June, we stopped by the orange blossom but they had just closed. We will be back in Sept, and totally getting an apple ugly
You have to get there early. Sometimes they sell out. September is an awesome time to visit.

I was so fortunate to visit Nags Head and Duck in the 70s..no homes just sand dunes and beach, or and wild horses...I have been back a few times but too commercialized for me now..I'll cont watching, love the music and style..new subscriber 😊

We were there Sat to Sat through Memorial Day. Didn't think the crowd was bad at all, had great time with no trouble getting into town on Saturday between noon and 1pm. Had a great time as always.
