Just watched this for the first time last night, good lord is he gloriously entertaining in this movie. Especially the section right after this, agreeing to visit the island with the group of scientists, amusing himself the whole time pettily annoying them & feigning zero interest in their concerns. There’s always this mirthful smile in his eyes watching everything around him playing out, almost like the character himself knows he’s in a playfully goofy second sequel to an exploitation classic about mutant killer babies.

"Upon the mountain I stand as I offer my hand Unto Disciples of the Watch willing to make the final stand Against the Holy One, the Nazarene, the Unborn Child The fuckin' bastard of a thousand priests, the holiest of pedophiles The prophecies have come to pass in this revelation I am the prophet leading children 'cross the nation In search of the newborn Jesus The adversary, only not, he's the living dead fetus And as the stars aligned the blasphemer was born And most innocent children shall be ripped and torn And from the womb of a whore, shall he be reborn And from that womb shall his life no longer be mourned 'Cause after one final breath, the world will burn with eternal flame And all disciples will be put into the book of dead names So believe the word, disciples, 'cause the prophecy is here Inside the doctrine shall the Nazarene disappear So go out dear wolves amongst the sheep And kill the newborn sons until you slay the Nazarene And at the left hand, you won't stab me for the first power And at the hour of arrival, shall you all cower You're either with us or against us, there is no in-between There is no evil in this world, it's just what you perceive So slay the Nazarene now, or live in peace My disciples make a path for arrival of the Beast"
