I don't get it.. How do we stop worrying about affording things and how does God provide me with food and shelter? I just want to understand this. How do you just buy stuff without a worry? I cant buy groceries with nothing in my bank account. I just really want to understand this

See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. And if God so clothed the grass of the field which is today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you. So, do not worry about the morrow, saying what shall eat or what shall we drink or how shall we clothe ourselves. Sufficient to the day is the worry of it. Nobody ever preaches a sermon on that text because people say "look that's all very well because Jesus was the boss' son, and he knew that he was really in charge of the universe and he had nothing to worry about, but we have to be practical" Well, what do you suppose what the gospel was? The good news? Do you know it never got out? that you too were the boss' son.

I don't know if this is what you were talking about in this video, but God spoke to me through it in this way. I feel like there are a lot of people that want to live for God and want a relationship with Him, but they are scared of what they will have to give up when they finally give their lives to Him. We are born with a sinful nature, and that is why I think it is so hard for people that want to live for God to leave there sin in the past. People feel so comfortable in their sin that it would feel unnatural and uncomfortable to be free from sin. God doesn't want anyone to perish, so that is why he sent Jesus to die for us on the cross. Jesus died on the cross so that we could have a relationship with God again. Jesus also died on the cross so that we might be saved from death. You don't have to be scared to give up the worldly things because God will give you more than what you had. In the book of Job, Job lost everything, yet he praised God through it all and God gave him double of what he had before. God only want the best for you and that is why he wants us to live for him. God knows your every need, so don't worry about anything. May God bless you and your families. Have a great day.
