Okay but Degrassi was definitely better than Euphoria because they actually taught you lessons. I've seen Euphoria it's mostly drama and drugs and lots of sex and more drama sprinkled with generational trauma and mental health issues.

agree but sasuke didn’t try to kill her twice. the whole “he tried to kill her twice” narrative is twisting the actual events you’re trying to describe. obviously the one time he tried to kill her was in the five kage summit arc when she attempted to kill him with her poisoned kunai. the second imaginary time could only be one of two instances (unless it’s some filler i’m not aware of but filler isn’t canon), either when team 7 found sasuke at the beginning of shippuden or when he put her under genjutsu before the final valley of the end fight. the first instance is inaccurate bc he never actually went out of his way to harm her in that fight despite wounding literally everyone else, and only prepared to counter her when she went to attack him first (he didn’t end up following through as yamato stopped sakura from attacking). the second instance is a huge stretch bc he wasn’t attacking her, never had the intention of killing her at that time, and he self admittedly put her under genjutsu to protect her from getting in the middle of his fight with naruto like when they were kids. you may not remember that detail/are just parroting other’s reasons for disliking the ship, and that’s perfectly ok, i just thought i’d point out it’s canonically false since it’s something so many people say

lierally all of the main cast is annoying, they are kids da. what I hate about Sakuras is the wasted potential for a great character, she was done dirty by the author.

Considering how Sakura basically got more popular in boruto and how kishimoto expresses how he regrets not developing sakura's character more, i think people are beginning to see what kishimoto saw in her and how poorly studio pierrot executives treated her (especially after seeing what happened when studio pierrot executives forced kishimoto to make naruhina canon which forced the anime, movie, manga, and short story writers and voice cast to retcon a huge amount of stuff). [Naruto ended up being a bad dad to kids and bad husband to hinata yet they had to gaslit more characters into hesitantly supporting NaruHina compared to SasuSaku. There's a reason why NaruHina broke the Naruto fandom and not SasuSaku.] Sakura's friendship with Ino also should have been explored more beyond meeting as kids and fighting over Sasuke. (Also, sakura definitely got the short of the stuck compared to Naruto and Sasuke. Comparing Kakashi to Sakura is like comparing a old manager to a young intern.) My guess for why studio pierrot executives hated sakura is because she reminded them of real human girls (rather than the idealized pretty female characters their shonen audience likes and fantasize about).

I love this!! She’s always been my favourite character. She just feels so human compared to a lot of the other characters and it’s so upsetting that Kishimoto didn’t expand on her storyline and character.

I loved this video essay! I really wish the studio represented sakura better because her growth (and rock lee) was what the whole of Naruto was about. If the studio liked her character we would've had such an amazing female character for us young girlies as we were growing up

When I was younger I followed on the Sakura hate calling her useless but now her character is so sad because she's such wasted potential and an amazing charecter 😭

I love this anime I love love the fashion it didn't really make sense to.put Hachi in anything related to vivienne westwood it's not her style personal it just didn't work for me I'm alternative and even I know it's doesn't work for her
