Bloody Beautiful 😍 of course the Vincent is a brilliant machine, but the workmanship, the engineering and the finished bike is absolutely amazing. In my eyes it's the perfect bike. (A jealous admirer)
Its wonderful Growing up, Where cars were for the rich, well off, had outside toilet, lived in cold houses, gas fire In one room, waiting hours for buses and trains. Cycling In all weathers to go to work. Had a neighbour who had a phone and the family down the end of the road had a black and white tv. It was marvelous......... Compared to today, instant information, easy easy easy money, warm homes with central heating!!!! afordable cars. Better health care. It wasnt that rosey In the early 60's. Society was of higher standard now its just the dregs of sewer.
I was built by me, at MRC, All we had at the start of the build was an Egli frame and a Rapide engine, the engine was restored to Black Shadow spec, the running gear and forks is mostly 70's Ducati, Yokes are Minnovation, along with a lot of in house fabricated parts, we are currently making an Aluminium fairing and tail piece. www.motorcyclerestorationcompany.com
"Who built it?" If the title of the clip is right, and it looks to be, then Fritz Egli built it, in Switzerland, some time during the 1970s. Fritz was the Swiss hillclimb champion of 1969, on a Vincent with a frame he built himself. People wanted copies, so he started making them. Egli was one of the first, and most highly regarded chassis makers in the world, about the same time as Rickman emerged, before MotoMartin or Moko or any of the others showed up. Bimota is on the same stage, but they're children of the mid 70s.
