Good question! In my experience it doesn’t affect the battery on the preamp inside the guitar any more than a normal amp would. So if you have an active pickup (pickup that requires a battery inside the guitar) make sure to unplug the Tonewood amp when you’re not using it (same with an ordinary amp). The battery life on the Tonewood amp is, in my experience, ok if you use good capacity batteries. I do not recommend using cheap, low capacity batteries with the Tonewood amp. With good capacity batteries I have hours of playing without having to replace them. Hope this helps.

@@Downhillguitarandpiano i cant help but see that your videos sound really really good without even any edits at all. Thought casper were playing viva la vida at first due to how similar it sounds with the reverb. Im about to bite the bullet but how much would u say that its worth it?

@@longdang3379 Thanks mate, that’s really kind! I think Casper usually records the audio and processes it, and then records the video and paste the sound on top of that to get that fantastic sound of his (kudos to him, because it sound awesome). I’ve recorded this with just the internal iPhone mic using the camera-app (just put the iPhone on the table in front of me). I think the Tonewood amp is terrific and well worth the bucks!

That’s a Taylor guitar! And yes, the reverb comes from the Tonewood amp connected to the guitar (resonates with the wood on the guitar). Check out the Tonewood amp website or channel here on UA-cam to see how it works.
