Brennan, Thank you for this valuable information. Your kindness is much appreciated. I aligned each little groove with its corresponding limiting ball as you suggested, marked the center of each ball with an automatic center punch and using a 3/32in drill bit carefully drilled them out. It's difficult to see how the manufacturer gained an advantage by altering the carburetor in this way as the internals were caked with dirt.
What do you think about tanaka chainsaws? I've never held one. I have a couple of tanaka weedeater and they are well built.
I think about all of the saws are rebranded from other manufacturers. All of them I've seen though were Japanese quality built units though. Parts can be tough for them but they're solid.
Ahhhhh a spider in the sink 😬
Strong saw!
Musta been my 50 lol... she's ripin
Love it ❤❤
I love how stock you managed to make that saw look!
Stock carb? I have a 50 I ported that I'm not happy with. Just seems that it is lacking something.
No, not much of a 50 left there
@@brennancass3747 I can tell by the way it screams those high RPM's. Mine wouldn't even compare to it. I didn't like the open transfer ports when I was building it.
@@ClintsHobbiesDIY open ports are a little different for sure
👍👍
Probably one of the ones up near the top of the ranks. I'm grinding my teeth for race results.
That thing is screaming
It's sure it's pretty
Thank you Brennan. You rock. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
Again Brennan, you the man!
Is 500i fuel efficient?
It's does ok, certainly not as long on a tank as my 462. More similar to a 660 in fuel consumption.
👍👍👏👏
Rotten wood
Yup that log crumbled like a cookie. Shame cuz there was solid wood in background.
Lil Rippa bud! Getcha some
Very strong saw
Dang 😮
nice saw..i have an ecv 5501..totally different saw...its same as partner 540,,,theres a poulan and a jonsered version as well
Very nice. This one is a zenoah built saw.
@@brennancass3747 i thought it looked zenoah alright 👍
She’s a runner 👏
I can't even afford the chain for that thing. Nice saw. ~boB
I have to say that's a damn good running 362
Thank you sir
She rips!👍👍
That's the meanest sounding 362 I have ever, and I do mean ever heard!!! I really liked that full circle crank you built for that 4910 Charles put together, really awesome,I realize this might be kinda a dumb question but I'm gonna ask it anyway why do more pro grade saws from Stihl,Husky,Echo not come with full circle cranks if their is so much performance to be gained probably a cost thing, anyways charles as well as yourself make some great saws with the hp, I really like that stihl 400 he ported, do you think if at all possible there would be anything to be gained by putting a custom full circle crank on one or any model of saw like the echo 620 husky 372/572?
Husky has been using crank stuffers for probably a good 15 years in some of their saws. Cost I'm sure is one thing that comes into play but the other thing is you do sacrifice some reliability in my opinion. The crank does a pretty good job of keeping oil from getting to the bearings with all the space taken up around it. Like everything else, there is a trade off for performance versus reliability. I have done some 372 cranks and have one in my personal clone, there are some videos from last summer on here if you'd like to see. It's a pretty good runner. 572 has stuffers from the factory so no reason to change those cranks unless stroking or something. And I have a 590 crank here to do for another UA-camr so you'll probably get to see it eventually. Thanks for watching and the kind words!
Thanks Brendan for elaborating on the subject, I have a jonsered 2156, and I used to have a 2159 loved that 2159, but man that 2156 rips!!! Same as the 357 husky, do you know if my jonsered 2260 has full circle, I luv that saw, and heck a jonsered and husky, also got bitten by the vintage mac bug lol!!! Looking forward to seeing that 590, I just got a new Shindy 600sx, I am saving that one for Charles to port!!!
@@user-ug7on5xj8b yes, both the 2156/357 and also 2260 have stuffers. Those 600sx are good looking saws, I like the red stuff myself.
I am very partial to red and black saws as well, my dream saw would be to get a Shindaiwa 731sx, unfortunately atleast for now it's not available in the USA, as far as I know just the foreign market it's just a 7310 in that pretty red/black dress!!!!
@@user-ug7on5xj8b yep I've looked at getting one of those a couple times now, can import one but they're quite expensive in Europe oddly enough. Got some buddies over there and they say echo is more than Stihl and husky. Pretty strange.
Spicy
362 is screamin!
Old videos or did yall get a sunny day?
Last 2 days have actually been pretty nice. Got to do some testing finally
@@brennancass3747awesome, got like 4 inches of rain down here and now everything is soaked.
@@Super-Dave-Outdoors that was the week before last here😆 cold as whiz last week

Getting after it! Heck ya
That’s a little bar. She sounds awesome bud. Good to see you post content. God bless
It's a 20 but it does look small on that saw lol. Thanks for being here!
Got your saw to start smoking. My plug too clean worries me.
Wish i had craftmanship like you, great job.
What some may not know is how smooth these saws are.
Extremely smooth and nice to run
I just drilled my ms271 carb plugs out today with a 5/32" bit, it drills easy its just aluminum, i adjusted it better than when i bought it new, my low idle was too lean ...
Awesome work
That’s legit. I want my 461 like that
What carb is that Brennan?
It's alive
👍👍
If i start drinkin mtn dew and eatin tater chips will it make my saws faster?
I don't think it could hurt, try it out.
@@brennancass3747maybe that is what i am missing... What flavor tater chips? Asking for a friend...
@@Super-Dave-Outdoors I think most any will do
Cuts an sounds good❤
Been wondern when u were gonna get 1 cant wait 2 see what u turn it in 2❤❤
Got it wadded up in a box a year ago lol just been slack
awesome work! Way above my pay grade 🤣👌🏻
This is a tight build cant wait to see it run. Keep up the great work. Go hopper.
This is the best way to do it. TY
Pretty kicken build! Great work!
Nice repair work do you use brass inserts also? I need someone to repair a nice 066 mahle cylinder with a strip spark plug hole for me.
Steel inserts. I've had good luck with solid inserts for plugs
@@brennancass3747 New subscriber here be looking forward to more great videos to come.👍
