I’m pretty impressed even now that Netflix made a mostly faithful adaptation of Tekken 3. Kind of wished they continued adapt the whole Tekken series. Tekken 8 in particular would go crazy in anime.

I know in the anime the village already knows about Nami's deal, but I actually like the way they did it here; it actually makes more sense for her to do everything by herself, and sacrifice her own life for the greater cause. Just like Belle-mère did to protect her and Nojiko. P.S I believe that Emily Rudd (the actress playing Nami) actually cut herself a bit while shooting the last scene; ofc she's not gonna stab herself deeply like the anime showed, but she still suffered for her art. :')

Netflix only gave them 8 episodes so they had go streamline the story and work with what they have. I liked it tho! Hopefully they can flesh out the story more in the second season.

The Matron is traditionally neither good nor evil, just like death itself. I do like Scanlan's journey this season - he was afraid this whole time, but he gnomed up in time. And when they looted Gilmore's, he got the last pick - the broom that eventually went to Vex - but here he asserted himself and rightfully took the magic key.

They did an excellent job keeping important plot points alive while changing a bit here and there. They seriously have enough material in campaign 1 that they can easily do 6 seasons to do the justice, maybe 7, even, because of the questing they did to sew up backstory,level up, etc. There are some arcs that really, really deserve the same treatment the show has given so far! Critical Role is really nailing it!

Great reaction. Season 2 was great. Really enjoyed seeing how they brought the campaign to life on the screen. Also interesting to see the differences between them. They had to change stuff for time and flow. Like going from book to movie, a lot of details can get cut or changed. In the campaign Grog defeated this dragon. As much as I would have liked to have seen that, I liked how they had Scanlan do it with the vestige in this. overall great season. Can’t wait for 3.
