THIS IS WHAT FANS WANT! Refresh of the packs - just like it was with the "Spa Day" expansion. It would definitely be worth it for "Outdoor Retreat" to gain new lots to explore and the ability to swim in and on lakes (e.g., with boats). Meanwhile, "Dine Out" needs improvement, and many fans want the ability for restaurant owners to also cook, serve as waiters, or handle cleaning. "Vampires" deserve a mysterious lot in their environment - it’s almost a crime that their world doesn't have a secret hideout for vampires. That’s definitely an untapped potential. "Parenthood" should be combined with "Together is Better," because it’s just an unfunny joke that they are separate. A music expansion pack, which fans have been asking for years - the career of a singer, who creates music, performs concerts, and releases albums, is a true dream. The ability to create music stages, organize competitions, or form bands would be elements that could significantly enrich the game. Improvement of environments and the introduction of "rabbit holes" - this would definitely be a better solution than empty cardboard boxes or building mockups. For example, in a university town with a beautiful old town, it would be great to have bakeries, restaurants, and cafes, which could be "rabbit holes" - functional places, rather than empty, characterless mockups. Cars and other vehicles - introducing new means of transportation, transport fees, which could become an integral part of the Sims’ lives. Fixing bugs - fixing all technical issues and bugs. "My Wedding Stories" - NO COMMENT! Pack prices - there are so many now that anyone who wants to catch up on the entire collection has to spend a fortune. Why not reduce these prices? I don't think ea should completly throw out old cas items. It serves as a great time capsule and also there are people who like this type of style (for example me) But yeah, more basic game cas items would be appreciated

I’m going to comment on several videos in 1 because I just watched a bunch and I appreciate you so much! I’ve been playing since Sims 1 , finished any variation of Legacy when variations of this are all I do, lol no! Only time I came close was starting with Johnny Zest and making his dreams come true lol! I’m trying a Whimsy Legacy now but game keeps crashing placing lots or in build mode infinite loading. Wait, I do have Off The Grid active! I’m hoping turning it off will fix this, or I’ll have to actually quit the game to clean my house again, eew. I also never sell from inventory and am trying to not use the buy options for this generation. Some of my cc mods make it harder the dumpster seems to prioritize the cc items. But my sim has 2 possible love interests. One I kinda ruled out despite them being so attracted to each other but he has the klepto trait. Well decision made thanks to you I’m actually excited to do the opposite of the sim with more compatible traits. I watch so many sims videos and yours is the first that has really got me thinking more outside the box and I’ve been playing sims of one variation or another for a long time, turning 47 soon so… if turning the lot challenge off saves my crashing which is the reason I’ve had to keep walking away I will literally cry. Thank you for this content, it’s so needed

I’m doing the not so berry challenge right now but I have my lifespans on long so I can keep track of all the townies so my sims can look like they aged up with them (same age) but now ill just put it on short for a bit cuz they TAKE to long to AGE UP😭😭😭😭

I just want a new franchise from a whole other company. I don't care for or want them to fix the sims because they've had 10 years to do that and never had, so i don't care about this lame game, it's a dead horse and a loss cause. Also, fixed or not i'm not interested in it either way, they could come in tomorrow announcing the game will be perfectly bug free and i still would have moved on because when i sit and really think about it i hate the vibe in this game... I don't like much about it. I liked sims 2 and to some extent 3 but i hate the general vibe around sims 4. Just corny.

I love the no one is waiting to beat you up for using cheats! I cannot play without MCCC or UI extension cheats. i just can't. Also I hate babies so much that I always age them up to toddlers. The teen years alway get me too I need to just shorten that stage.

5:36 with UI Cheats you can refresh the wants until u get better ones and most mods that added to the wims system have been updated to the wants and fears system.

I always make plotlines for my next heir when they're a kid, and have them follow these overly dramatic thing. My current heir is an actress who cheats on her spouses, and kills them when she's done with them.

Whenever it gets boring in my current legacy household I freeze time and play with the sibling family of my heir for a bit til I feel like going back. This way the other members’ lives get expanded but it doesn’t feel like I missed much in my other household

Something I do is I disable packs. After a gen or 2, I add a pack or 2 and plan that gen around those packs, so for example I add City Living and Get to Work so I have a set of cousins who move to the city, one to become a City Native and one to get an active career. I also have a rule. Unless it is for a storyline, I don't allow my sims to have kids until they are half way through young adult at the earliest since I tend to only have 1 or 2 kids a gen. If they have kids too early, my next gen is young adults before their parents are even half way through being a regular adult.

This was really helpful!! I was so into this game as a teenager, but these days I mostly only build houses and get bored so easily with gameplay. These ideas all seem like they can help me actually enjoy playing the game again though :) thanks!

I think something that helps me get a little more into gameplay is when I don't let myself get too attached to my sims. Because I will spend hours upon hours making a cute sim only to not want to lose them or have them get old and die, so I turn off aging. The less time I spend individualizing everything so it's absolutely perfect, the easier it is for me to play through a story line as well.

I’ve just recently realized that since the skills don’t scale with long life so My legacy could achieve everything in 2 generations Plus I had to play a mod off save until mods are updated so that becomes a new soon to be abandoned legacy 😅

You can cancel the wants with ui cheats :) just click the want and choose ”re-roll” and it canges

let me state an obvious solution if you're not having fun with the sims 4: just don't play it. don't embrace the sunken cost fallacy. don't buy another DLC. if the base game is not even a skeleton of gameplay why should people buy 1000 dollars of added content? the sims 2 had a better base game and this was 20 years ago. it's not a matter of resources from the side of the developer nor a matter of personal taste. the sims 4 is objectively bad. they just don't want to make a better and modern/innovative version of the sims in a time when you can download games that are objectively better for free (!) instead. EA actively said they don't want to make "the sims 5". why? because they want to continue to milk this cash cow that is the sims 4. love yourself, don't play this

700ish bucks in and yeah, it still is boring as rock and super bugged. I stopped buying their crap since For Rent, it's useless and it only makes the game worst. TBH I wish I could get all my money back and become a pirate but at this point... meh.

UiCheats lets you right-click and re-roll wants just real easily. Also, if you have testing cheats enabled you can just shift-click this in and then re-roll their their wants.

I have all the DLC for this game, it's so embarrassing to admit but I do lol. 🙄 I've decided very recently after the release of the last expansion pack, Life & Death, that I'm no longer going to buy another pack until they do something to fix the game. Which means that I'll probably just play it as is. I think that EA broke the ghost life state by giving us a ghost occult. Why do ghosts need to eat, sleep, pee. Ghosts should never have had these Needs. It's crazy. What do you all think? 🥺😭 I play on console so there are no mods for me. The men's clothing category is so "Woke" with gender neutral clothes options which really boils my butter. EA should just give us what we want and what we ask for. It's like they don't even care and they'll produce only what they want. Where are the cars, the fairies, the robbers, the excitement of Sims 3, where is it? Smh in dismay.

Don't believe in the sunk cost fallacy of how much money you've spent so you MUST have fun, if you are not having fun naturally there is litterally no point in opening up the game. I am not saying don't try a challenge, I have a short one going now I am enjoying but continuing to force feed yourself play sessions that lead to boredom is not good.

what annoys me the most is the fact EA leaves everything to the community, bugs, the community will fix it, cas, gameplay. Its all us, they don't put effort anymore since we will eventually fix it, wich is bad for console players but there isnt much we can do (luckly I didnt pay for shit, I refuse to spend so much money on a broken game)

I made a sims to get the reaper rewards, and made her live a life aside from completing the rewards objectives. She got children, and her two oldest are now used to test the Life and Death pack, and a new generation is there. I think I'm gonna turn this into a legacy challenge, so this video arrived at the perfect time! I think it really helps to have long term objectives other than the aspiration ones, so you have to juggle between the two

"Dont open the game with nothing in your head" I could not agree with this more! I'm a big history nerd, so I like to play my own variation of the decades challenge. I keep track of their family tree, outline rules for what they can and cannot do based on the time period, and keep track of the specific year to add more challenge. I found a Sims 4 Random Event Generator on blogspot and it has added that extra drama to the game. My child sim recently died in a car crash and that completely derailed my plans. Now I'm having even more fun trying to plan around that Have a general plan, but also allow things to go wrong. Thats how I've gotten suckered into playing the game for 5 hours straight just today lol
