An Airbnb experience like none other
This is a message for Airbnb users to please do your due diligence and make sure you're getting what is advertised.
We had a 1/10 experience during our Airbnb stay in Cartagena, Colombia and wanted to share our experience so you don't make the same mistake we did!
As budget travelers, we try and get the most value for our money during our stays and this just simply was not the case with this accommodation.

Sorry to hear about your airbnb experience. That could have happened to anyone and I don't think you can prepare for something like that, when they advertise one thing and you get another. Hope your efforts to get some type of refund is successful.
The Airbnb Customer Support said the Host does not want to refund. So we never got refunded for the days we did not stay. And somehow we cannot even leave a review 😢

Looks brutal. $40 USD a night?!? I would have liked to see what was advertised. Maybe in the future, you can show the pictures from Airbnb in comparison while you're showing the place.
