This is so good!! I love how the pacing subverts expectations, like you expect it to pick a main character, but it switches to the next scene with a different crowd, really conveys that feeling of humanity

its amazing how many emotions this conveys, its pacing almost seems like a dream, you faintly know whats happening but its in an odd order. in a good way

...this is so good?! I thought it would have at least a couple hundred thousand views, imagine my surprise when it's not even at 1k yet. I know views don't surmise the quality of the video, but it was still something that surprised me. The colour choice, strange perspective and angles, the art style and the audio all work together so well. I adore this. The incredible transitions are so clever, and i can't even begin to imagine how much work was put into it. Possibly one of my favourite parts was slowly figuring out it was set in Wellington, in new Zealand. The opal cards are a nice detail, and its just really good. I don't know how to properly express the idk vibes this gives off, it's just really cool, and an incredible piece of media. It reminds me a bit of Vewn's work, if vewn used softer colours and shapes. Its more than that though. I love this. It's just really cool and I hope this comment kinda sums up my appreciation

Fantastic visuals, it's amazing how simple but well-chosen and striking colors can make a scene pop and feel alive even without any fancy shading effects. There's also something so lively yet bittersweet about this whole piece; there's an undercurrent of tension and sadness floating throughout the film that's almost buried beneath the lights and sounds of this city (cities?), and I think that push and pull between anxiety and distraction is expressed pretty succinctly between the girl and guy at the end. She expresses her anxiety about these existential things you can barely control, and the guy more or less brushes it off in favor of whatever the night has to offer. Good stuff!
