Mafiveer! 😂😂😂 'Namaste to Matribhoomi'and 'obedient servant' to the British who even managed to get a pension from the British Government. 😮😮😮😊
Absolutely right ✅️ 😄
Tera baap mafiveer.......
Abe jahil k2we ke bachche, it was a way of writing letter (I beg to remain your most obedient servant), aise Gandhi ne bhi likha aur Ambedkar ne bhi aur wo pension nahi allowance thi jo har political prisoner ko milti thi, Gandhi ko 450-550 milti thi aur Bose ko 250 lekin Veer Savarkar ko keval 60 wo bhi unki saari property aur degree lene ke baad. Due to his Hindu Militarization the Hindus got 75% of land during partition and even helped Netaji as a lot of soldiers later joined INA and he planted the seed of 1946 navy revolt. Aata kuch hai nahi aa gye gaan marwane.🤡 Jaake padhai likhai kar yahan apni ammi mat xhuda
Petitions by VD Savarkar * His 1st petition was on 30 August 1911 because by the end of 1911, the British Government was organising the Delhi Durbar and the impending coronation durbar had given rise to rumours that many political prisoners would be pardoned so the official protocol demanded that ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS SUBMIT CLEMENCY PETITIONS TO THE GOVT SEEKING THEIR RELEASE so everyone including Veer Savarkar submitted their petitions to the jail authorities. It was rejected. It came as no surprise to him. * In 1913, Veer Savarkar was given the option to submit a formal petition stating his case. The same option of petitioning the govt was offered to Barin Ghose, Nand Gopal, Hrishikesh Kanjilal and Sudhir Kumar Sarkar. They submitted their petitions accordingly. Veer Savarkar often expressed this option that a Revolutionary's primary duty was to free himself from the clutches of the British in order to return to the freedom struggle. Don keys mostly use this 1913 petition to defame him but was it true? Dhananjay Keer point out that this was a tactical move, quite like Shivaji Maharaj writing pliant letters to Aurangzeb to secure his release and can't be taken literally. If he had indeed become their pawn, why did the British treat him with suspicion and as one of India's most dangerous men for nearly a decade and half thereafter? He himself has mentioned in his memoir that many times he contemplated suicide but he refrained himself. In 1913, Craddock clearly mentions that from his conversation with Veer Savarkar it was evident to him that ' he can't be said to express any regret of repentance ' for whatever he did. Satisfied? No? Ok. Veer Savarkar's jail history after Craddock departure indicates that in less than a month he once again undertook a strike from work and was punished with month's solitary confinement without any work or books. 8 June 1914 he once again refused to work. As a result, ye was punished with 7 days of standing handcuffed. Within a day of the punishment being completed, on 16 June 1914, he went back on his strike even on 18 June 1914. The authorities put him on ten days crossbar fetters. After Craddock's departure, the increase in the number of punishment entries on his ticket certainly does not indicate the temperature of a man who was willing to co-operate with the British or become their stooge. * In 1914, World War 1 took place and Veer Savarkar always believed in the Militarization policy as it'll give power to the Indians but he was in jail and couldn't do ant recruitment so he decided to write petition where a large scale army was made to help 'stave off the invasion if India from North by the forces of Afghanistan and Turkey'. He basically wanted the Indians to be trained as army men as a country becomes powerful through their army. Also at the end of the letter, Veer Savarkar clearly writes: If the govt suspect that my real intention in writing all this is only to secure my release, then I beg to submit let me not be released at all, with my exception let all the rest be released, let the volunteer movement go on and I will rejoice in that as if myself was allowed to play an active part. * On 5 October 1917, Veer Savarkar sent his petition because British Government started the constitutional reforms and HE WROTE THIS PETITION FOR OTHER PRISONERS as he writes at the end that: If the govt thinks that it is only to effect my own release that I pen this; or if my name constitutes the chief obstacle in the granting of such an amnesty and release all the rest ; that would give me as great satisfaction as my own release would do. * On 20 March 1920, Veer Savarkar submitted a petition to the government ARGUING his case as to prisoners like Barin Ghose and Sachindranath Sanyal were released but why he and his brother can't? * On 19 August 1921, Veer Savarkar sent a petition as he was both physically and mentally challenged because after spending 10 years in Kala Pani even in Indian jails the situation was same + all his work and efforts were destroyed. * In prison, VD Savarkar, through his petitions, declared his support for 'constitutionalism', 'non violence ' and 'reforms'. But in his memoirs MY TRANSPORTATION FOR LIFE, that was written a few years after his release, he expressed completely different political notions. In these writings, he revealed his disapproval is the non violent mode of struggle that was being propagated by Gandhi. Even as he dismissed the Mahatma's approach based on non violence, he appealed to the colonial regime for amnesty release or remission of sentence based upon his conviction that 'violence' was a thing of the past and ' constitutionalism' was the only political ideology left to pursue. In his memoirs, he favours Tilak's approach of 'responsive cooperation ' that the latter had advocated in the wake of the reforms. The petitions, however, have no mention of this approach or his belief in them. These seemingly contradicting stands lead one to believe that the petitions were a mere tactical ruse to secure a release and thereafter plan a future strategy. Nothing substantial could be achieved by being holed up in jail. * Ultimately all petitions 1911,1913,1914,1917 and 1920,1921 were rejected. As Sachindranath Sanyal says in his book that both Sanyal and Savarkar wrote same petition but Sanyal 's petition was accepted because in Bengal there was demands by the citizens to release. It was only in 1923 the high demand in Maharashtra took place due to Narayan Savarkar that Veer Savarkar was ultimately released.
I beg to remain, Your Excellency's most obedient servant, BR Ambedkar. Ref:- Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar: Writings & Speeches Vol 3 Page:- 323. 😭
