Novus is the best to me because it has the most verarity more than the eligion because you cant kill flying creatures land creatures can destroy the seas of a server but novus can go everywhere meaning no one is safe also in a surviveng situation it would be a flop because its only in the water it can get satiated fast unless somebody goes to it you can easily kill it as a baby the novus can fly from land and sea creatures go in the water from flying and land creature land for sea creatures done thats my case

The issue with the exploiters is that 95% of em do it on an alt, so even if they ban the alt they can just come back again. IP bans don't really work too because of vpns. I think one of the biggest issues with cos right now is how the community is literally killing itself. It's a toxic cesspool of freaks and kids who take things way too far- it shouldn't be normalized to tell someone to off themselves over dying in a game, but in CoS it is. Mostly an issue caused by the fact it's on Roblox (name one Roblox game with a good fanbase) but it's still depressing. Earlier in the games history it wasn't as bad but then again CoS has over double the average players it had pre-recode so it's to be expected- the more mainstream something gets the more bad people get to it

i don’t like cos but only play it because there’s literally no other game like it, except for the upcoming harp isles, i’ll gladly leave cos all those 4 years in cos now gone forever, here’s my main issues. 1. abilities, these abilities straight up makes the game less of a survival game and more of a pvp game, you could argue that invisibility is like real life camouflage but thing is camouflage only works in certain areas and not everywhere else unlike invisibility, and moving while camouflage will give away your position so yeah invisibility is not camouflage in anyway there are more stupidly broken abilities but im not writing all of them now. 2. roster bloat, 300 creatures, 75% goes unused, so where’s the point in adding all those creatures. 3. sudden change of the game creature designs from speculative evolution to fantasy, example in 2020 we had creature like nindyr a cow alien creature and then in 2024 we have this stone creature that glides using some flags or like scrolls to glide somehow there’s many more examples but you get the just 4. the redesigns, the new redesign is somewhere between bad-decent like example halaqual or like pero they went from basic bird that mimics like the air or like clouds and then straight up being clouds, like altaria physique. 5: the amount of status effects, there’s like over 20 of them and i find most of them pointless and kinda make the game more pvp based, i only see bleed and poison/toxin useful since they’re actually realistic and cos needs more of that. 6: lack of realism, ik the game is like fantasy but like you could still incorporate some realistic aspect like sizing, ik its gravity but i find that excuse kinda bad, also stop giving large creature’s tiny legs they’ll snap once they sit dowoihbndoibmhdoihmbdbuihndbihomdobmduhhbnoudnhuhod

I lost interest on CoS when I went to their discord to report a problem I found with one of the creatures that turned invisible. They basically told me I needed better hardware. I have a f*cling RTX 4060, I can run cyberpunk at 60 FPS, the f*ck you mean it's a hardware problem?

The moment harp isles drops im switching cuz this game just aint "survival" at all, heck this is literally comparable to The Survival Game which is all pvp and nearly no need for putting effort in survival

As someone who still plays Dino sim to this day, i haven't seen many exploiters on there anymore... however, with cos ... It's a different story.

Today I think I got the aquatic height record after I dashed and a tornado flung me straight up and it took forever to get back down.

Many many times I’ve played I’ve seen 1 hacker per 5 servers, one time I was growing a kavo and decided to go to central, and guess what happened…….. A GAINT HIT BOX, INF INVIS HAVKER STARED KILLING EVERYONE WHO CAME A FOOT CLOSE TO CENTRAL, I had to regrow the kavo 100 times cause I was getting killed, and another time a bright pink glowing kavo was killing everything in volcano, I was lucky not to get in range but this is ruining the game, prehistoria has only 1 dev but still he does somthing to hackers, once harp isles comes out I’m never going to cos again, it’ll probably get over run by hackers by the time harp is out

By far the updates with more map extensions and bug fixes have been making the game slightly better but the fanbase itself ehh- but still there are several games with bad fandoms CoS isnt just the only one
