Interesting to see the old VHAF grain hoppers in the other road, not many of them left, most have had a meeting with Albert Sims. Solo Rice Burner CSR023 must be a local trip train?
S312 broken down? Looks very sad sitting there. The GWU class have been out here, a rare sight, on the Aurizon/TGE intermodals which are usually two ACD class. 😉
S312 waiting for next duties
I see the LORAM rail grinder entourage sitting across from B75. Sent you a picture of QL006 at Trangie NSW, looks a lot cleaner that the three in your video!
Nice smooth stop using dynamic braking at the start with XR559.😉
Nice catch there.
Some nice shots there Shazza! I was in Melbourne last week and saw two Vline trains leave Southern Cross with the EMD 's on the point. Got the OVerland to Adelaide and it was a good trip. Cheers Gregg.
Great you got to see the N Class locos as they are being phased out!
@@SheltonDCruz Ok . they sound great leaving the station and the smell is great!
Cool steam locomotive in the blue color.
Not Qube, SCT. This is the Dooen service, 7922v
Thanks!
Cool catch 👍
Nice shots of the yard. Useful for modellers ballasting a yard.
Indeed gives a whole new perspective 👍
So you are on the drone bandwagon eh Shelton? Sorry, not into them, they look like toy trains on a model layout in that video. Have fun with it...🤩
I have a model nr103
All blue
@@user-bl2nt1un9s nice!
Plenty of Scotch Thistle's there Shelton, and AN1 blowing a bit of smoke, nice work.
The proud "S" and "B" class once the bread & butter locomotives of the Victorian Railways...nice capture Shelton.
Thanks Dave - So privileged to see these old timers!
Now that's what I call a real EMD locomotive, C501, good video Shelton.
I like the "Free West Papua" graffiti on the silo side, an issue the international community seems to ignore, including Australia in fear of upsetting Indonesia. Qube "1100" class getting along at a cracking pace, nice work Shelton.
thanks Dave - the 1100 locos have been replaced with the newer locos from Qube nowadays
Interesting to see the crew car attached, never see the crew cars out in western NSW, they must attach it later on beyond Broken Hill. Heaps of wooden sleepers dumped trackside, such a waste. Good catch Shelton.
Nice catch
Classic EMD...a pity X31 wasn't leading. Good work Shelton!😉
yea it hasn't lead ever since being on that service 😒
The "Richmond Tigers" livery looks great on the "C" class, providing they keep them reasonably clean, good catch there lad.👍
Nice to see a solo "Rice Burner" on a local trip train I presume Shelton?👌
Dave, it went all the way north - not a trip movement
NR48 the only presentable looking loco out of that scruffy bunch. Didn't think you would waste your time filming NR's there Shelton? NR13 & NR119 are an "EPA Alert" with all that smoke.
I was waiting for another movement. 😁
XPT driver will not be happy, sitting in the loop for a freight! G543 looks very sad, in need of a new paint job. 👌
Hi Dave - XPT came to an aburpt halt as the camera was rolling. The goods is on the Broad Gauge.
@@SheltonDCruz Dual gauge working in Victoria, confusing to NSW people...
Just love those "T", "P" and "H" class, backbone of the VR in the old days, paid for themselves many times over they did. Good little clip Shelton.
Always a delight to see the T Classes!
Haven't seen a "VL" out here for a while, good spot there, nice work.👌
Thanks 👍
Lot of smoke from the Clunkers, 8033 in as usual, always something wrong with it.😉
Yes rare sight
Wallaby has a death wish sitting in the middle of the track. 49 class is 4911 in CRL livery, nice work Shelton.
Thanks!
Don't mind the S307 in Pacific National colours, good clip.👌
Thanks Dave - too bad the headboard was on
Nice catch Shelton, still fresh paint too from overhaul.
Thanks!
Nice! Its cool to see this aspect of railways, as its not very common (at least to my knowledge)
Thank you very much!
Interesting .... Thanks for filming and sharing to UA-cam
No worries - i'm glad you liked it 😁
How many locos were there? I ran out of fingers and toes to count them all.......
Four loco lash-up
@@SheltonDCruz Thanks
Omg Shelton you didn't know who he was lol
West Footscray station didn't look like that in the 1970s! Great "classic" collection of EMD there Shelton, well done. Do you know "Bobby The Melbourne Railfanner"?
Hi Dave, thanks - no I do not know of Bobby.
@@SheltonDCruz He and his mate are from your mother country, thought you may know them. When are you coming through here in Easter? Might do a lunch in Forbes or Parkes?
Nice catch there Shelton, someone trespassing close to the rail corridor in front of you too at 4.17, doesn't serve the hobby well those actions. Great to see X48 still going strong too...
Thanks Dave - X48 and X50 are the only two operation X Class units left (third series)
Nice looking layout mate 😂 😊
i was an enginemen in 1984 and loved every bit off it i was based at south dynon loco i retired last year after 38 years as a firemen loco driver and spark driver i would do it all again but unfornunately its all gone
yes very sad all gone forever!
l classes port melbourne melbourne yard just a few to name amongst my favorites and the characters on the loco@@SheltonDCruz
I joined in 1984 was going to be a fireman but station staff convinced me to be a signalman. I stayed for 4 years. Working with only blokes was fun. Enjoy your retirement😅.
i enjoyed my time there except the last four years prior to retiring in 2022 all extraps and metro i hated both@@freeagent8225
Whole lot of steel!
Cracking EMD lash up with a little DL531 sandwiched in the middle, doing its bit for the company!
yes - exhilarating experience! The boys up front put on a top show!
Fantastic footage of the 2 442's in Brisbane
Thanks! Rare to see Alcos up here.
nice video mate.
another great video of the A class mate
Thanks!!!
nice one mate
Thanks!
great catch mate, she certainly looks great in the Candy livery these days
Thanks!
great footage of the 48's, it's a shame most don't do much these days
nice footage of the 422 and the SCT transfer
nice work, shame they pretty much all got scrapped, but luckily we still have 31 & 37 plus a few more around
great video mate
Thanks!
very nice, certainly love an S class revving up and working hard, never get sick of the sound lol. Or anything similar really.
