Hillary must have got there first
The data is now in the filter
Seems to me like you haven’t met god yet 😏 , I dare you to argue with that
Even when used aren't they supposed to be, idk, like a damn mirror?
The head should never touch the surface of the platter. Or this happens.
Correct. My guess is that this drive was subjected to intense vibrations for much of its life. Perhaps and some sort of vehicle or machinery

I am having this very same issue with an external seagate drive. In both the dock it came in and in another. The power light won’t even light up. So I need a logic board it looks like. Or is that simple fix not possible and also keeping the files on the drive I need ?
CRINGEEEEEE🎉
And you don't need to do this in a cleanroom?
But all you shown us is converting usb to sata. Nothing about recovery.
WD always fail
Say-tuh or sah-tuh?
How much did it cost
No wonder it's really expensive to afford this procedure
I’m so glad to have seen this, I thought about shucking an external drive and it didn’t even occur to me that these manufacturers put usb interfaces only on some drives. 😮
nobody has 50,000 pictures of legal things bro
I have 50,000 pictures of my dogs
Yikes
First
This was pretty cool, but I’m also a big fuckin nerd so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Calling yourself a nerd is like giving yourself your own nickname. It's cringe af
Just don’t put it in the microwave🤔
Yes always seagate
I have the same drive with the same problem
Aren't you getting dust on the hdd?
The schottky diode will show short circuit using a multimeter.
If anyone wanted to know, 16 terabytes is 16,000 gigabytes

The hard disk is a killer 💀
Always Seagate 😂

I have a Seagate SRD00F1. Windows sees it, but corrupt or not accessible. Wonder if moving to a sled will help get it back?

My dvr has something like this inside. The HD plays some kind of buzzing noise tune on repeat when i turn it on, im going to try your method. Thanks!
Subscribed for this! Will try and fix my own Seagate 4tb with the Seta cable and then fully replace the hardrive! Thank you for your calming mannerisms! From the UK or I'd send direct to you to fix!
Short circuit problem is the most easy repair 👍
Those seagate die like flies
LOL i had WD My Passport 1TB, twice, they all died each less than 1 year.
I have both dead seagate and wd. But wd has more alive. Seagate every one is dead.
Also I have this exact model dead.
Especially this seagate Modell died on my.
I have a Seagate HDD that’s 4 years old and still works fine, I also have another 2 one is 9 years old and the other is 11 and they both still work aswell
Western Digital are trash, I'm not sure how long you've be doing this but I did PC repairs from 2005 to 2019 and the amount of WD drives with failed heads was unbelievable, I used donar heads only to recover data or clone the disc onto a decent one depending on what the customer wanted to pay.
Please slowly video
