Trying 7 ELEVEN Food in India🇮🇳
Today I was out and about in Mumbai. I spotted a seven eleven store on the side. Since I was hungry I decided to go in and have a look around for something to eat. They had the usual assortment. I decided on a warm chicken burger and a pepperoni pizza. In total I was supposed to pay 300 Indian rupees. 150 for the pizza and 150 for the chicken burger. I went to my hotel to try my snacks. First I had the chicken burger but had to remove the lettuce because it didn't look so fresh anymore. Then I tried the burger and it didn't taste too bad. It was a fluffy burger bun, the chicken patty, onions and a cocktail sauce. The taste was OK and the burger tasted good. Then I took the pizza I ordered and opened the box. It was a chicken sausage pizza. I tried the first piece but I didn't like it at all. Even with a little oregano sprinkled on top it wasn't really much better. It was the first time I tried the seven eleven snacks in India. You can definitely eat much cheaper on the street. But the burger was really OK. When you order pizza in India, you usually get ketchup with it. I demonstrated how Indian people eat pizza. They often eat pizza with ketchup. I had never heard of pizza with ketchup before. But I demonstrated it for my audience and tried a piece with ketchup. A good pizza doesn't need ketchup, of course. The ketchup didn't make the seven eleven pizza much better.
