Its 2025 and im still bothering why the military is struggling over deadass slow walkers, i know its gameplay but lore doesn't make any sense i get it, L4D1/2, dying light, having mutants and special infected's is understandable because they're overwhelming, In walking dead, doesn't make any sense at all, Hell even in road of the dead, 1/2 military perspective _somehow_ struggling over walkers, (i know there's mutant, in 1/2 but the gameplay explains it but lore/story doesn't)

I did not expect to see G&B here, but yeah it's pretty much near hopeless in that game's story as the majority of Europe was overtaken by the undead. The Prussian army is mostly out of commission and some of the surviving members have taken refuge inside Pfalzgrafenstein Castle in Kaub, Germany. The french army as of the recent update has fallen into disarray and they began turning on each other, some even became marauders. The fact that their capital: Paris, had been overtaken didn't help this situation at all. Not to mention the British aren't exactly all that good of people, as they went to copenhagen to enforce a quarantine and wound up burning the city to ashes. Not to mention they retreated without the French army being prepared at all, when they tried a counter-offensive against the blight.

Man,you should cover road of the dead infection,it was an old flash game and i think it deserves to be featured in the next part (if there is a third part to this series).Also your videos are very cool,its a shame,your they arent seen by a lot of people.Keep the good work.

FYI in G&B the infection is a religious infection and the only way to canonically slow down the infection is to be in a religion most preferably christianity since its the only religion that is seen that is able to prevent and slowdown the infection

Most people would die in a project zomboid zombie apocalypse. PZ takes place in 1991 where an airborne that effects 80% of the population quickly spreads from the Kentucky to the rest of the world within 2 weeks, those get the Knox infection would die within 2 to 3 days and then come back as zombies. People did not know what a modern zombie was in 1991. Most of the remaining 20% would get bitten/eaten alive when they first encountered a zombie, and for those few that survived they would have to figure out how to avoid getting zombie blood in their eyes/mouth (the remaining 20% can be infected if zombie blood/saliva enters their body), get rid of huge hordes, deal with the water shutoff and power grid failure, secure long term sources of meat, fruit and vegetables (you can’t just survive by eating only cabbages) and later on deal with bandits. I would say that 99% of the people would die within the first month, but those few that survive will be able to get rid of the zombies and start rebuilding the civilization. But if Knox infection appeared today the I would say that 90% of the people would die instead of 99% if the virus spared as quickly as it did in PZ because we know what a zombie is.

Let's be real. Damn near anyone wouldn't be able to out run a volatile. If that thing finds you there's a good chance that you are absolutely COOKED unless you are an Olympic level runner

Objection to Days Gone ranking. Freakers are omnivores, drink water, and rest. They regularly migrate from place to place to search for food once they run out from their previous source. They contaminate Water sources by poopin in them, they kill wildlife and eat plants, leaving survivors with less food sources. The Hooligan Virus was meant to be a super soldier serum, and thus freaks are much more stronger than a human, even the weakest of them all.

What I can also add about CDDA is that zombies evolve over time, so basicly after one year of surviving, you going to see a lot more challenging foes. Basic walkers will either evolve into hulking brutes or big blobs of fat, fillded with toxic chemicals. What's even worse is that there's a LOT of variants of simple zombies, like aquatic zombies that then turn into zombie/crocodile hybrid, electric zombies that use lightning to fry you alive. If you decide to try your's luck in the country side, then you are going to see all kind's of mutated wildlife and even horrors that cannot be described. Great game, hard to start but really fun when you understand the controls. Try playing it yourself, it's free and is easy to mod.

The reason Project Zomboid is deadlier and could hit A is, that there are no other humans, you are the only surviving human in Kentucky. Yea,h there are mods and multiplayer, but still. In the game, you 1 man versus the whole of an infected Kentucky. Also in custom mode the zombies can be sprinters, use doors, have insane senses, open windows, have insane strength, etc, and there's 100k+ of them all over the place, not even the woods are safe. to be fair, Project zomboid is the most realistic depiction of zombies ever, hence why we want to place it higher. Other games don't instil you with the fear and dread of wondering a city like Zomboid does. In TWD you just waltz into the city with no care, in project zomboid, going to the Louisville is a literal death sentence, with -100% chance of survival. Its funny how You can not be afraid of hordes and manage them easily when they shamble until the don't stop following you everywhere. And you get a sense of, you can run from the horde, but you cant hide from the horde, they always find you. They will always win in the end.

G&B's virus is the physical manifestation of sin & the variants all take advantage of what a person was before they were infected, eg. The sapper and bomber respectively. Also with the most recent update (infection update) a single bite can close to fully infect you if you don't have a priest on hand to bless you. ALSO, with the addition of viral runners one turned person can take out an entire group if they take people out one by one. Additionally, in lore, the virus took the majority of Europe within 2-3 years even with the allied defense at Waterloo (Taking place across the endless maps La Haye Saint, Hougoumont & La Ferme/Ligny)
