Written by myself and Phil Kirwan on a rainy night in 1984, this is a song the arrangement of which has continued to deveop over the years, first with the voice of Suzi Woods and more recently the riifs of sax legend Chris Bowden and the drums of Miles Levin.

This song was written shortly after the death of Bert Jansch, a great writer and performer and a leading light of the Britsh 1960s folk/blues revolution where "the British tradition got mixed with the blues". It is an unmastered track from The Details' forthcoming album. Guitarist Dave Carroll provides glimpses of African American blues as well as more exotic ideas from North and Saharan Africa.
