Consider there are thousands of audition for the role Harry, Ron, Hermione it would be hard to make an announcement for it. I'll admit the HP films are a fun ride but it also left so much stuff in the source materials, all I want for the reboot is a book acurate adaptation. If the writer worried the show might get compared to the films, why not make it animated ? Animation & live action are like apples & oranges, also there are hundreds of HP theory content online so why not make a "What If" story the most well know one is "What if Harry was sorted to Slytherin"

Dude I've reread the manga so many times. Probably two-three times per year since it started. The first couple chapters are such awesome hooks, though it does get less interesting after that. Still super excited that there's going to be an anime for it.
