Love this technique! I recommend a universal needle. They are a stronger needle for multiple layers.

That's very resourceful, using cloth from the hemming of the dress. I think the trickiest part is making the strap itself. But it turned out really neat 😄

I would never think of the fixes you do. I took a formal dress to have straps added to hide my bra. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with the result. I kept thinking my sister Saira would've done a better job.
