Where are the tuba/sousaphone and the shoulder tuba
This is pretty cool! The only issue is that those notes are too high for sousaphone, but love the effort!

How can you do sonic boom without tubas
Because sonic boom is quite literally a trombone fanfare. Meaning it only has trombones. People think it’s a tuba fanfare because of a popular video where it was only tubas

Probably should add that the trombone section played the arrangement fantastically. I am just used to seeing sousaphones play this rather than trombones.

Disclaimer, this is not meant to be rude or demeaning So I play sax and all and I'm just genuinely confused if this is supposed to be impressive or something 0.0
If you are asking if the piece is challenging or musically difficult, no. It’s a stand tune, meant to get the band, spectators and players hyped up. The only somewhat difficult part is the 16th note melody near the end played by the 1st trombones. But more or less it’s just an exciting tune to hear :)

Oh god in middle school i was the only euphonium player and i had to play loud, now as a highscooler isn't that big of a deal but oh boy that 7 grader me was afraid of messing up
that is one massive trombone section... litterally bigger than the whole low brass section at my school granted we are a 2a MB.
Bigger than ours as well and we are a 5A band that won several comps this year lmao.
Must be either Texas or somewhere up north like Chicago, theres so many huge bands around there.

The tubas in the band had our own stand tune called “Tank”, but I don’t think it was ever recorded unfortunately:(

@@TuckerNator2000 I actually agree with OP. It's obviously super cold out, making it nearly impossible to start in tune... but they adjusted quickly and played great for HS kids.
