TS Queen Mary Moves to Govan Docks
This video captures TS Queen Mary's move from Glasgow Science Centre to the quayside by Govan Dock 2, on Thursday 25th May 2023.
Over the next 12 months the ship's timber decks will be lifted and replaced with new steel decks. In addition, 221 windows and portholes will be replaced and the ship will be fully insulated.

Iain Sim (Chairman of Friends of TS Queen Mary) and Frances Murray (Co-Director of Strathclyde Law School's Diploma in Legal Practice) present "Project Management for Lawyers". PML is the product of a unique collaboration between these two organisations. It is the first course of its kind in Scotland for DPLP students, and the innovation has been recognised by the Law Society of Scotland.

R.I.P. Robbie Coltrane
Robbie Coltrane was the first person the wee TS Queen Mary charity team thought of to invite as a patron. Especially after his enthusiasm of all things mechanical in the "B Road Britain" television series about motoring around the country in amazing cars. But the consensus was he is a very busy gentleman and way above our pay-grade, even though nobody gets paid to do this! But the Big Man said YES and much celebration all round. Mr Coltrane has been a wonderful ambassador for the charity ever since. Thankyou sir for the kindness, generosity and good humour.
Best of luck guys. Am I right in remembering a strange ruling that, when she was sold by CalMac, she could not leave Scotland until the Lion Rampants were removed from her funnel?
