Brecon Mountain Railway from the air!
I wish the Kingston Flyer still went to Rivers dale Gore and Invercargill .
Einfach nur traumhaft schön ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Einfach wunderschön ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
She looks great. Wishing the BMR a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Looking forward to seeing your future uploads throughout 2025.
A tad more room to swing a shovel than .... Ooh .... some 2ft gauge locos I could think of fo kniht dluoc I eguag tf2 emos
A spacious, waterproof shed? Light, airy and someone clearly thought about crews needs. What's the world coming to? 🧐
Very cool for sure.
could you please give us a update on no.3 2-6-2 construction in your next video please.
What a beauty! ❤
Awesome locomotive.
I give this video like and hope you will run ads to promote your nice channel
Lovely colours
Great video, brilliant to see No.1 back in action
May No.1's 2nd innings prove this magnificent loco as reliable as No.2 has been.
Fantastic. I have heard about the BMR for many years and I look forward to visiting at some point in the future. Keep up the good work with the videos 👍
The fact that the Canadian Pacific used to have wodden "dome" cars that were basically just cabooses with giant cupolas on either end just... Makes me think there is potential 😉😁
Never herd of this line before
@@shopdog831 give us a look! Www.Bmr.wales
OMG This is amazing and so cool! Reminds me of the Maine 2footers here in the US! They used similarly designed 2-6-2's (at least the SR&RL did). I will say for "Cupola" its pronounced more like "Coop-a-la" (at least here in the Midwest). This is such a neat railway IDK why it took me till today to learn about it!
Thank you for the video. My first visit there was in 1993 when I was still taking cine film. Been a few times since, must make another visit.
What became of the South African Garratt locomotive? I remember seeing it in the shed on the BMR in the 1980s.
Excellent update on developments. I live on the wrong side of the country to visit frequently, but it is a magnificent line, with better scenery than some other narrow gauge lines. I do hope that I might see the Forney completed one day.
Howdy from the US. I visited the railway back in 2022 and fell in love with it and it's locos. Sadly, I'm not sure when I might make my way back over there but I'm so glad I ran across your UA-cam channel. Great video and I look forwards to seeing more updates
As someone who has followed the fortune of the railway since the second day of operation, it has ben great to see the progress made. On the second day of operation , the train consisted of one coach pulled by an 0-4-0 engine called Sybil. What has happened to that loco. The last time I saw it was an exhibit in the BMR museum along with he locos now in Aberystwyth. I wish the Vale of Rheidol every success in running the BMR. Perhaps the line might be extended towards Tal-y-bont on Usk. I spoke to the late Tony Hills on a number of occasions and he told me that he would like to extend through the Torpantau tunnel to a point over looking the Talybont resevoir.
Nice to see you again Stuart !
The caboose cupola rides is a great idea. As you say, not really something you'd normally get a chance at in this country. Making footplate rides available is brilliant also. Yes I'm a Fireman on the West Somerset Railway, but I do have a special love for Baldwin locomotives - (evident in my videos!) I look forward to visiting you again, whenever that may be. Simon
Thanks for the update. Can you persuade any of the BMR crew to join you on camera?
We'll try and persuade them next time!
This is all very great :) As a brazillian, while sad that Teresa's not at home, it's still a relief and even Miraculous she's out there, and driving! Most if not all of the original Mogiana locomotives of that gauge has been gone since then. Thanks for the content and ofc for the marvelous work :D
For me im happy. Here in brazil she was in a horrible state. Im glad they bought it and restored like that.
@@Minidutra Yeah, i have to agree withat I'm happy to see a mogiana engine in such a wonderful state
thanks Stuart. miss your tallylyn duo caroline
as far as I’m aware the Railway still belongs to the founders family
Not much wandering, but an interesting overview 🚂🚂✔️
Please keep these up!! The recent explosion of social media for this line has been brilliant to see! Also, pretty sure I spotted Stuart taking some promo photos at the VOR for the new Ivor books! Great work you've done for both lines!
Great video ,look forward to the updates !
Thanks 👍

Like the pneumatic rams opening the Fire box doors nothing to mess the fire box
Hard to believe that's the cab of a 2ft gauge loco!
very nice scenary
Very nice
Steam bells ..... that's it. Needs steam bells, Stuart 🔔🔔 🔔
Pretty little loco that would arguably be better touring as a roving ambassador ... because the emphasis is on 'little'!
Still more mesmerising seen for real .... who doesn't love a railway carriage balcony?
thanks Stuart. hope you settling in ok. Came to your railway last year to go the full length and enjoyed it again. Welsh cakes good too. Caroline
Just found this ...superb !
Nice to have some updates from the railway. I visited the line some years ago and it was a very good experience. Being interested in South African steam, the reason for my visit was the similarity of No.2 with the South African class NG10, although there are some differences like the number of domes and the cab. From there on the American theme of the BMR did catch me and since also Maine NG came into the picture. Very good to see a Forney being recreated, as all original 2' ones were scrapped. No orders from the States yet?
Any chance we can look around your machine shop next time
Good to see you back in Wales and on UA-cam. Good luck with the new challenge!
Thank you!
Good video..Nice to see you Stuart we've met at the Talyllyn I've ridden the BMR clearly need to visit again good luck
Thanks Colin, glad you enjoyed! Stuart
Good to catch up with you again, Stuart! No more locally-produced Dowlais Top steam coal now, I suppose. But are there any small drift mines still operating in your area perhaps?
Hi - no more welsh coal in the quantities we need.
Hi Stuart, I had been wondering when you would pop up with a BMR video update; t'was good. Looking forward to many more. Cheers
Thanks Peter - couldn't keep off the camera for too long! Stuart
