my 1st video I watched of yours was WILD Turkey 70th anniversary and you said that stuff was better than Rare Breed...puzzled because I went and found your Rare Breed review from 3 months earlier and you Really looked like you enjoyed Rare Breed a heck of alot more.

Enjoyed this review and pretty much agree with everything you stated. Its a solid bottle at a GREAT price! Apparently its an allocated bottle here in New Jersey, but I was able to pick up 2 bottles at an avg. price of $55.99 Is this a top 5 whiskey of the year contender? Absolutely NOT, but if you are a fan of WT then you will LOVE this. Nice to see them honor such a legend of the industry with a bottle like this! Cheers to all!

Just wish I could get a cask strength Woodford DO. Good bottle but seems watered down at 90 proof Costco in California has it at 42.99. 100% worth it Try mixing with Rebecca creek double barrell Texas for an amazing dram

The Woodford double Oak was my first bourbon of this kind but not my favorite. I just purchased Peerless double Oak and that is superb. Also I have 2 XO and a bottle of Old Forrester 1910. I’ve had many people tell me the 13th colony double oak reigns supreme.

Mine was bakers 7 was just horrible and i got a willets in a fancy bottle was completely trash

Another great review, thank you. I tried WRDO for the 1st time the other day at one of my local stores Allocate-AK and they were surprised that I had never had it. After trying it I know that I need to get a bottle. I will put it up against my OF 1910, Wheel Horse Toasted, Cooper's Craft 100, Good Times DO and my beloved Copper & Cask Double S'more. That will a great night of tasting and will be a win for me no matter which one comes out on top.

That A Overholt has a higher rye % in the mash bill than the regular Old Overholt series. It also has no corn in the mash bill, whereas Old Overholt does.

This is a great ASM. A lot of American Single Malts are on the young side because our weather is warmer than the Grand Daddy, Scotland, where it’s cooler, like 60F, year round and their whisky ages much slower. Awesome review! Here to see your channel grow 🥃

This is a terrible video. Half these bottles have an MSRP of well over 100 dollars and most people can’t afford any of these bottles at secondary pricing. So good job I guess stating the obvious, yes duh, all these bottles are worth more than 100 bucks. It would be like saying, yes a Rolex is worth more than 100 dollars. Yes the Ferrari out front, also worth more than 100 dollars. Too many UA-cam bourbon guys these days I think is the moral of the story.

There are 1,000 good bottles on the shelf, an ugly bottle gets a pass from me. Presentation is part of the enjoyment of anything we buy and consume.

Glad you like this. I loved it because it is so different. You need to try old overholt 10 year cask strength and Old overholt 114. Both are so different from other ryes.

I have seen the Green River full proof around but 3 months I picked up a Green River Single Barrel and it's honestly one of the worst bottles I have.. strong ethanol, nose and palate

I was out hunting this weekend and I picked this bottle up along with the WT 70th Anniversary bottle! The Winter Release is not my jam as far as drinking it neat --- but I think this is going to be AWESOME in Holiday eggnog! Cheers!

I just picked up that Redwood Empire Rocket Top but haven't tried it yet, and I've now ordered the High West Campfire as I am actually a Scotch drinker who only recently started drinking bourbon. As a former single malt scotch drinker I laugh every time you refer to a bottle as "pricey" when it is under $80. I've saved a lot of money switching to bourbon!

When video started, I was wondering how bottles of JD would make the list! 😜 I like the list Brad, only one bottle I would want to add: TommyRotter Cider Cask Finished Tennessee Straight Whiskey --- 95 proof, absolutely crushable neat or in a Hot Toddy! Cheers to all!
