I remember getting a oil change next to costco once and they told me my tires needed air but they can't do it because Costco had put nitrogen in my tires and i had to go there to get it filled. Costco then finds a, "unfixable " nail in one of my tires LOL This was a long time ago so hopefully things are better now. I mean Costco makes enough money😅

Funny stuff. Actually, there is such a thing as "premium air." It's nitrogen they put in your tires instead of air. It takes longer for the nitrogen to heat up, so your tires stay cooler, which is better for their longevity. The molecules are bigger, too, so leaks are less likely. I thought it was about $50 a tire to do this, but perhaps it can cost around $100 per tire.

my wife's oil change light on the new tahoe was on for a couple days. we were about to go on a road trip, so i told her i was going to take it for an oil change. she said i didn't need too because she put oil in it. i asked her how much she put in and she said 3 quarts. i asked her why so much, what did the dip stick say. she said the tahoe didn't have a dip stick. ye.

Actually “Premium Air” does exist, it’s called Nitrogen. If you ride a motorcycle in hot weather countries, it’s recommended to fill your tire with 100% nitrogen… your tire will last longer. I know it because this is what I did when I was touring Europe with my bike and I had to put nitrogen when I arrived in Greece during summer.
