As you craft complex item in the scanner, like motor for instance, and if you are missing an item like copper gear, you can press R when pointing to gear in the scanner, that will work! * To see various soils for hopping bonsai, press U pointing to bonsai itself. It will scroll thru various soils and if you press Shift, you can pause the scrolling and read all details. Soils order are: dirt, grass, wet soil, wasteland earth, Saturn gravel. Wasteland earth is the best before space travel, but to find biome from nuclearcraft, you need device called nature's compass, if you can craft it, it will be very useful. Once found, you may need to travel few thousands blocks, which is easy with your jetpack. Once you arrive at nuclearcraft biome, watch out for sun chief, they are often located in that biome! Wasteland soil is definitely worth hunting for it, it will increase byproducts many folds! Cheaper alternative is wet soil, which can be found in wet biomes or oasis biomes. Hunting for good soil is a great diversion from every day crafting activity and it gives you a purpose for exploration! * When recipe needs 1004 mb of molten inferium, that's exactly 7 ingots! * Magnet is a great improvement! But you need to mount it in baubles, otherwise it's disabled, actually, that's how you disable it temporarily - you take that off the baubles. You don't need mana for magnet to work - it's passive! But when you drop something on purpose, it takes few seconds before it picks it up - that's vanilla mechanics.

Great episode! CARPENTER! Woo-hoo! Great achievement! Awesome! When making treated planks, you can use tanks in the middle instead of buckets, way faster! Best place to find jauxum, karmesine and ovium ore is deep dark dimension, you have tons of that ore there! Portal block is kind of expensive, but if you can do it, it's totally worth it! Also, jauxum ore can be tripled with rich slag, which you get from induction smelter. Best source of rich slag is nether ore, which is very easy with exchanger which you already made for quest.

Great episode! Great move to new room! When breaking drawers, try to break it from the top or side or back, this way you don't pull items from drawers on the first hit. Also, magnet would help not to loose items when they fall.

I recommend botania magnet, it's passive, doesn't require consumables or energy, works great! Also storage tablet would be great! Say you forgot your lumber axe at home, right click on the tablet - you got it! Great way to work and explore! * If you put certus quartz binding on your shovel, it will dig columns of gravel in one touch and also increase durability of the shovel!

Great episode! Creosote oil can be burned in generator for additional power to your mystical farm. Otherwise you get so much creosote you wouldn't know what to do with it. Generator was in the quest, you may have it already. * Great progress with all the seeds, you got very nice mystical farm indeed! * You can still make limestone seeds, but you need to craft limestone using machine from thermal expansion called igneous extruder and with augment called clastic deposition. Igneous extruder is very useful in that you can make any stone variants you want. Plus, there will be time where you need tons of compressed cobble, far more than you can mine manually, so crafting this machine is quite useful!

Great episode! Great progress! Those diamond crabs are a good source of diamonds, if you catch them! Which you can, because you have speed boost from your support creeper! You kill them with pickaxe, not the sword. And if pickaxe has fortune upgrade, you get 2 diamonds! Really nice!

Great episode! You are flying thru quests, I like it how fast it moves when you are focused! Great job! I still think extending ladder to machine room from scanner room may be a good idea. Or crafting storage tablet for remote access to your main scanner from any other room. * Since bricks are somewhat expensive and require 9 clay to be smelted, I always grab a stack of bricks from my exploration trips. But for lava bricks, there is more efficient recipe in the smeltery, you get double the output.

i’m hesitant to start this pack kind of hit a wall of tedium in GTNH but this pack looks quite entertaining, also sorry to comment on the old vid just found the channel and binging this to get caught up

Also, since you like building and often mine large rooms, consider using exchanger for mining. If you set replacement block to be apple sprouts, then they just fall off the wall and you continue! It's instant and silk touch, win win situation. Leadstone exchanger has area of 3x3, but if you can get to signalum level, that's 11x11, huge area can be mined in no time!

Great building episode! Excellent idea about using compacting drawers! One possible solution to consider is to use ender chest to transfer essence to your main storage room, this way you have access to all your resources from main scanner! Also, storage tablet for remote access would be awesome! Right now, if you forgot hammer or torches or building supplies, you have to go back to scanner multiple times. With remote access, you have all you need with you, always! And the best thing about tablet is it has UNLIMITED range, even across dimensions! Also, for torches, there is sigil of blood lamp in the quest, it allows you to place light sources using your blood network and since you have unlimited blood, it means free light sources, always with you. Which happened to work in SPACE too, very handy since normal torches don't work there. * For hammer materials, I noticed netherrack has more durability and is a bit faster, so recently I make all my beginner tools from netherrack, it's free! Later on, when you have ardite seeds, ardite is the choice, it has huge durability and wears out less when tool is part broken, it's like unbreaking enchant which only applied when durability is low, so you keep it unrepaired on purpose! * Entrance in the main lobby to ladder which goes down to scanner - that entrance is now obsolete, it used to be a hidden room. Would it be better to open up the walls instead? Just a thought. I am a big open space person. * For resources gathering, you are in the stage where you can grow resources, so next time you run short on iron or steel, consider faster farm!

Great episode! Now that your scanner moved downstairs, you are getting up thru some combination of ladders and stairs. I am curious if ladder from scanner can be extended to go straight up to machine room? Another option is to craft storage tablet so that you have access to your scanner from any location! * Astral sorcery perks can add more than 10 hearts after you attune yourself to a constellation (Vicio is my choice as you get points by flying with your jetpack). By comparison, the most extra hearts I was able to get from food was 6, never had patience to do more. Bottom line, astral gives your more extra hearts than new food!

Great episode! Awesome drawers system! The only potential difficulty will be when you need to upgrade one drawer, but to find it will be tricky! You can try use keybind T(t) to highlight the drawers, but between floors it may difficult!

Great episode! Level between floors of storage can also be used as storage crates, I found if you place glass panel along the wall of drawers, glass panel doesn't connect to drawers and allows easy access to floor level, while keeping you from falling down! This way, wall of drawers goes uninterrupted thru several floors! Also, you already noticed how many drawers are in the list of inventories in scanner, it makes it really hard to find what you need. But if you move your scanner to the middle of the room and limit range to, say 5 blocks, then list will not be cluttered with every drawer on the wall, it will only show controller and your crates, which you also move to the middle, around scanner. Just an idea. Refined Storage controller can also go in the middle, this way you have "central control hub" in one place in the middle! * Drawer slaves don't allow auto-input into the system. * If you want to go fancy, you can make framed version of trim which can go directly in the floor and will be indistinguishable from actual floors. * The way you left one block of space between birch slabs and floor - this will allow spiders to spawn, right?

Great episode! There are other types of vacuum hoppers in case you want to try them. But overall, chicken pen looks good!

Great episode! If you want eggs, there is tofu version you can grow. If you want feathers, chicken on top of hopper will produce plenty without food or water. But if you want real chicken farm for real eggs, that's a different story.

Great episode! There are SOOO many items in the game that even gigantic drawer system may not be enough for everything. My rule of thumb is to go by quantity - if I have 3 stacks of items - it goes into drawer, otherwise it stays in crates. Also, to keep same items in the same crate, use button to the right from mini-crafting grid, but with SHIFT! This way, items will not get scattered in all the different crates. * To get on the ladder faster, put extra section of ladder above floor, this way you can just walk into it.

Great episode! Looks like you plan to have 4 different drawer system along each wall? Why not combine them into ONE system using trims in the corners? Main controller can go in the middle of the room and controller slaves can go where you currently have each individual controller.

Great episode! To find exchanger, there are 2 ways. One, type wooden exchanger in jei and press T(t) when pointing to it. Crate which has the item will be highlighted. Two, type wooden exchanger in scanner and scroll down list of crates on the left. One crate which has exchanger will be highlighted. Then you can double click on it and see which crate and what position it is. * If you decide to have large drawers system downstairs, you can still keep scanner where it is. Drawers system has max size 25x25x25, controller can go in the middle and controller slave can go 12 blocks out in any direction and scanner has radius of 20, so you can leave scanner where it is.

Great episode! As you move items from storage scanner to Refined Storage, why not start with unstackable items like all armor, potions, enchanted books? You will save tons of space in your regular storage while Refined Storage will still have plenty of space left! It will also help with search in scanner. Right now, if you type "iron" in scanner, you see so much junk, you can't even see useful items. * Naphtha is a good fuel, but only at 40 rf/t in basic level. There is MUCH better, almost free energy source - heat collector. It is optional quest on Tier 1 main questline page. It produces 240 rf/t if you place 4 buckets of lava on all horizontal sides of it. It will generate on average about 12 million rf before one of lava blocks is consumed. Not bad at all for free resource like lava!

Great episode! You can disenchant holding 3 cell in device called "purifier" and try enchanting again. You can even get useful enchantment books in purifier by using "blood book" and filling purifier with blood. And then you can copy them using "printer", very easy, although it takes a long wait for copy, so it is not for mass printing. Jetpack can also be enchanted with holding 4, it will triple its capacity, also protection 4 etc. Unbreakable helmet and slimy boots too. If you don't get protection 4 on all armor, you can disenchant and copy books and apply. * When making steel, it is best to use iron INGOTS, not blocks, I just recently discovered using blocks takes 10% longer and use 10% more fuel and create 10% more slag, which fills inventory of blast furnace and stops the process. * If you want to get to The End an easy way, there is a quest for 64 enderium ingots which gives you end portal blocks, so you can create portal near your base. It's in alloys page, directly from signalum quest, I think.

Great episode! Awesome farm! You harvester wants 40 rf/t and you have 8, but it will still work fine. Your crops are not accelerated yet, so you don't need full speed. But you probably want servo upgraded, basic tier is very slow. It will make big difference once you put 4 sprinklers in the farm, then everything will grow MUCH faster and you will need to upgrade solar panel too or use wireless power from main source. Also, as you put more seeds, harvester will be overfilled,, it only has 27 slots like chest. So items will be dropped on the floor, so you want vacuum hopper from cyclic, it has also 15x15 area and you place it BEHIND harvester so every dropped item will get sucked in.
