@@Top7Gun You are correct, and it is a good dish. My disappointment with AF is not in the quality of its food throughout all the cabins, but in the presentation. The Michelin dish is served economy class style is disposable, TV-dinner containers. It is like drinking fine champagne from a paper cup. If you replaced the awful wooden utensils of their economy class meals with metal cutlery, the meals in the two cabins are un-appetizingly indistinguishable in appearance. (The second meal served in premium economy is the exact same "breakfast box", as in economy, dumped in passengers' laps, regardless of the destination or time of day.) Where is the French flair? Where is the "Premium" that they are charging for? It annoys me that the SkyTeam partners get it so right in premium economy and Air France gets it so hopelessly wrong. And it is not that they are cheaper than any of their SkyTeam partners. In fact, due to their code-share agreements you could unwittingly buy a Delta or KLM ticket, expecting their standard of catering, only to find yourself on Air France with their mediocre offering. S'il te plaît, Air France needs to get its act together.

Thank you 😊. Yes you’ll be saving if you go with the inside cabin especially if you are booking 2 rooms. This would all depend on when you are going and where too. I noticed spring break and holiday periods tend to be more expensive. I think If our baby was a bit older and was able to share sleeping space with here brothers, we would have gotten one room instead of two. They have a curtain that you can demarcate adults from the kids in the rooms. They have a lot of rooms that sleep 5.

We called Delta and they added the baby to the ticket. We did not pay full fare for her because she is a lap infant (under 2). We only paid taxes for her.

I am 5’11. It worked fine for me but might a little tight for someone who is 6’7.

Why not fly a private jet?

Yes, I take it this travelers who shared their great trip did not coordinate having a charter of a business jet. So, I take it that many may not wait to charter but they can fly on a commercial airline. And many people have so many awarded point in thier airline membership programs so, they will use those membership points.

Again, it was nice seeing his/her family trip on a long-haul trip!! I am glad that I have traveled on many long-haul trips in First and Business because I need the space for many knees since I am am tall.

Finally, it is also nice to be able to charter a private business jet when travelers can. I have friends and former corporate colleagues who have chartered with Netjets. I am glad there is a big private business corporate jet market put there. It is nice to fly on a private corporate aircraft with having private meals and drinks. I love seeing the Gulfstreams, Cessnas and other business jets.

We planned to be there for 3 days but unfortunately we missed our flight to Puerto Vallarta. We lost a whole day trying to get another flight there. We typically don’t stay too long when we go on vacation. We’ve discussed trying to do better and staying longer on our trips but it’s sometimes hard as we don’t want to pull the kids out of school for long periods. Maybe in the summer.
