Stockholm haven´t had this much snow in one day in November since at least 1950. When trucks were stuck and canceled their deliveries 9-10/11 2016 we kept delivering. Fighting the snow with our strong legs and elecitric assist. MOVEBYBiKE is a Swedish cargo bike delivery company founded in Malmö. I september 2014 deltog vi i Stockholm cykelkarneval med 500 andra cyklister. Ett av våra ekipage hade suveräna Smalbandet på flaket.

It’s unclear why the delta of height of cart and freight bike is more than an inch. I’d say the future is transfer station from larger, licensed vehicle to urban core bike. Like the Postal Service drop off points for walking route letter carriers. Van/truck drops off/picks up 10-20 units at a covered, secured kiosk. Bike collects and distributes from there. DHL/FEDEX/UPS will dominate. It’ll be interesting to see if European, North American, or Indian solutions will last.
