Take Care Bar in Jomtien, good venue, good vibes. The band in the video is also playing in Las Vegas soi buakhao except on Tuesdays when they come here. Sky Music bar, which is different from Sky Bar Soi 8 (but same owner), is a small outdoor venue for music. It is situated in the new Xcite complex area in between 3rd Road and Buakhao. The band at Lucky 7 Bar plays Funky, Soul, Motown style music and they are good at it. This cover of Billy Jeans is excellent. Most important, they plays each song with a big smile, which counts. Lucky 7 Bar is at the bottom left of Tree Town, in front of Basilisk Bar.

Happy Bar 2 (1 and 2 actually) are in Na Klua at the entrance of Soi 18. The video is from Happy Bar 2. I was a bit disappointed how quiet it was on an Saturday night. We were there around 9pm. On Monday evenings they organize jamming sessions. Happy Bar 1 is just in front and smaller. Just one cool guitarist with a music box. It was fun.

Take Care Bar is in Jomtien at the intersection of Second Road and Thappraya Road. Good music, good atmosphere inside, lots of people having a good time. They have one band playing from 8pm to 12 am and another band (coming after their first gig at Matador Bar) playing from 12am to 3am, the one on the video. The Guitar Bar is located on Second Road, almost in front of Central Dept Store. It is the first bar on the right hand side of Soi Made In. The only one having live music on that soi. I have been there a few times, but this time I didn't forget to pick up a few songs, so if you want more songs from The Guitar Bar... From there, if you keep going down the soi, you will have Tree Town on the righ...

Nice version of the famous Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. This bar in Tree Town has to deal with lots of noise around. I can't remember the name of the bar, shame on me. It is just in front of Lucky 7 Bar. Band there is alright and this version of the song is well-played and sung.

That band plays there on Fridays and Sundays only, but they have Live music every night (Jericho on Wednesdays). I have other songs from them, all good stuff.
