MGP Senior Race 1st Lap
1st lap of the 2017 Senior Manx Grand Prix Race. I hadn't ridden in anger for 6 days due to fuel pump trouble and bad weather, but we finally got round to race day and I was determined to get a good few laps in. Broke my personal best lap time by almost 2mph from a standing start at 109.8mph average, even with a mistake at Bishopscourt which I was lucky to get away with, and ran on at May Hill with an offline bump on the brakes so decided to bail out early and be safe rather than risk being out of shape for the corner... So would have been well over 110mph without these mistakes. and still hate the mountain so all in all, not a bad lap. Getting past the rider in front by Ballacraine was a good motivator and probably kept my head in it to catch and pass a few others in the other laps.

Manx Grand Prix 2017 Senior Race Onboard Lap 3
Переглядів 3286 років тому
3rd lap of the Senior Manx Grand Prix Race. Coming out the pits behind Adam Bauer and Peter Creer. 104.5mph lap including a 74 second pit stop, which makes it about 111.8mph without the pitstop. Lost my rhythm between Glen Helen and Sulby sat behind another rider trying to get drive to get through, but put in my fastest sector from Ramsey Hairpin to Cronk-y-Mona, and sat behind another chap fro...
Southern 100 2017 Senior Support Full Race
Переглядів 10 тис.7 років тому
The full Senior Support race from the 2017 Southern 100 Road Races. Starting from the back of the grid after a mix up, but managed to get my way through to 11th at the end of the race with some hard passes on lap 4 to try and get some clear track for a push at the end of the race, to see if I could break the 100mph average lap speed.
Southern 100 2017 Practice Lap
Переглядів 3037 років тому
A fairly casual second lap of the first practice for the 2017 Southern 100. Onboard a Kawasaki ZX6R. The next lap, the fuel pump started to play up but still managed a 93.5mph lap. Went into Ballabeg in 2nd instead of 1st, so had a bit of a slow exit out of there. Got the pump changed for the races, and got some good results and some decent, consistent lap times too.
2016 Southern 100 Junior Support Full Race

The Junior Support Race from the 2016 Southern 100. Made a bad mistake in the first corner, going in in 5th gear instead of 2nd, and had to fight my way back.. Trying to catch back up to Chris Watson for the last few laps, after he jumped a few people before me.
Manx grand Prix 2016 Senior Lap 108mph
Переглядів 1,5 тис.8 років тому
The last lap of the Senior Manx Grand Prix, ended up going 50s faster than any other lap of the meeting averaging 108.039mph. Ive had to drop the frame rate, so it doesn't look 100% amazing as it should have been 48fps.
Manx Grand Prix Bray Hill Kerb Moment

Getting a bit friendly with the kerb at the bottom of Bray Hill on the last lap of the Senior Manx Grand Prix. Smashed the bellypan up a bit, but didnt buckle a wheel, which was the main concern!
Southern100 2016 Onboard Race Lap (48fps)

Picking through the field after coming out of the first corner in the wrong gear, a fastest lap of 96.2mph... This was a quick lap considering the passing, at around 93.

A flying lap around the Billown (Southern 100) course. Shows how bumpy the track is, as well as showing how physical it is to get round. This is just a 91/92, so god knows what 100 must be like!
Manx Grand Prix 2015 onboard

Another practice lap, but the first half is a bit quicker than the last onboard... Around 97mph Avg. Had a double dip at Gorse Lea and went a bit too wide for my liking at that speed!! Wind noise is pretty bad on it.. I was starting in front of the quick boys, so there's some people that come past who show how it's really meant to be done!
Stuart Bedford Racing 2015 Review

A bit of a compilation of onboard footage, and video shot by friends from various tracks in 2015.. It's been a bit up and down. But made a dream come true by racing on the Isle of Man TT Course, at the Manx Grand Prix, where I put in a 101mph average lap speed... Knowing I could have gone faster is whats motivating me for 2016. Also my crash from Scarborough is included, but thats all sorted no...

Billrant job I wish I riding a bike there
My god! I just love the sound of this machine, very grungee and heavy
The greatest racing event in the world but on board itsnt interesting ..
Is it normal for those horrible downshifts on this sport or they’re not horrible? Am i wrong? It just sounds messy, imprecise.
It all depends on the gearing that is on the bike.. the uneven spacing is to get the most of the engine braking from each gear as you go down.. and the slipper clutch means you can go down more gears sooner than if you didn’t have one.
@@stuartbedford4000 but if you do the blip on the gas before realeasinf the clutch, engine would still work as a brake and the rear wouldn’t move about? Don’t it?
Not so long ago, you were told 'blip, blip, blip' at the track. Maybe now with slipper clutches people are being lazy?
First time I’ve seen this. What a ride!!!
Cheers Jason! Thanks for Watching. Was a good year that year!
Very well ! ;)

Hey man, just wanted to say thanks again for the use of your footage in some of the videos on our channel. It has proven to be highly popular, so we really appreciate. We were just wondering, do you have any issues with us running adverts on the videos with your footage in? No worries at all if not, but just let us know either way. Thanks again
Automotion no worries at all! It got some traffic through my way so it’s all good with me. Cheers for using it, and hope it brings a few quid in for you 👍
Stuart Bedford Thanks man, appreciate it. You have any racing plans in 2019?
Awesome....REspect to them all...
Excellent
This is amazing footage, absolutely incredible to watch. Any chance you're willing to let us use this footage in some 'Best Road Racing Moments' videos for our channel with all credit going to you. Let us know :)
Automotion cheers for the compliment guys! Means a lot... of course you can use it, thanks for asking. I look forward to seeing it 👍👍
Stuart Bedford No worries. And thanks very much, appreciate it. Do you have any races planned for this year/next year?
No plans this or next year I'm afraid... The last 6 years has cleaned me out, so its a bit more saving and hopefully be back. Can't shake the bug, so I'll find a way haha! :D
Damn that's a shame. Can imagine it'd get expensive doing it from your own pocket without huge sponsors covering your expenses. Yeah hopefully you can carry on somehow.
Yeah funding it is the big stress, especially a two week event like the TT or ManxGP.. It makes me compromise time on the bike which would make me faster at the big events, but its all worth it in the end. Smiles all round with the best group of guys and girls you could wish for! You been over to the island before?
Hey man! Class video 👍🏻 Would you like me to share it on my page with a link to your channel?
JJT Productionz hey fella, yeah that would be amazing! Cheers very much.. I'll share the vid and your channel too to help get some subs and followers 👍👍
Stuart Bedford Cool man - I’ve all the links to your channel in the description & will share it across my platforms hopefully lift your channel! PS epic racing & unbelievable footage 👍🏻 this could work well for you in the future hopefully get you a bit of extra cash to get that bike on the road every year😃 Cheers appreciate it
JJT Productionz cheers fella, it really is much appreciated 😀 you on insta, fb etc.?
Stuart Bedford yes I am👍🏻 seems to be a problem with UA-cam duke marketing claiming the video 🙈
JJT Productionz ahh just dispute it, i had the problem when I first uploaded it, just say you have permission from me and that I have already disputed the claim once and had the video released 👍 should be sorted within the day
Great stuff! Love the late braking. Good luck this season
Stu! Great to see your videos, hope you're enjoying it! I'll hopefully be over for this years Southern 100 (depends on work) so will hopefully catch you and Tim up when I'm there. Craig
Brilliant riding mate, that start was fantastic
Thanks very much!
Stuart Bedford yeah brilliant start but that guy on your left on the purple bike flew off the line!
awesome braking skills ..well done mate
Lucky lad
so did ya?
00:36 scary
All forgotten about 30 seconds later haha
Nice and clear footage with decent ride...Thx for that...!!!
Hi Stuart nice video! What gsxr model are you racing here?
Hi mate. It's a k6/k7.. All stock motor, with a few little bits on 👍
I thought you might have been at the spring cup this year Stuart. Are you not racing for John Batty Racing team anymore?
+XM4RTYX1 Not this year im afraid fella... Just all the cost for the boats and travelling and everything. The weather's not usually too good for the spring cup... Hopefully be back for the gold cup in september though!
Yes bedders! Respect! #notscared ✌🏽️
Great vid Stuart, even spotted myself road side. x
That was a great effort that Stu
I was lucky enough to have met you Stuart before the accident, when I seen the red flag and your bike never came back around (at the time I was talking to you dad) it was a horrible emotion. Less than an hour later, there you are talking to me at the side of the track. It was great to see you not badly injured. I wish the very best in your future, hopefully meet again. Also thank you for yours and yours dad's company.
XM4RTYX1 Cheers bud, was good meeting you too. You got to see both sides of real road racing on sunday. But it's a great sport to be around and a part of. I think we'll definitely be back again, just a matter of straightening the bike out for another crack at it! If you manage to get to a short circuit race like BSB or MotoGP you'll see how har them boys can push bikes about :)
Yeah it would be good to see you back there Stuart. Great company, I appreciate the knowledge that you and your dad shared. If I don't see you back at Scarborough, I will eventually get over to the island and we'll have a drink Stuart. All the best, take care mate
Arghhhhhhhh next time !!!!!!!!!
Here's one of mine from last year lad, I missed this bike at TT but with the Jurby round the following weekend it just wasn't worth the hassle of swapping between road & race trim. Final Sunday I used to love getting loads of laps in, 3 or 4 a day sometimes but this year I only managed to get over 3 times in the whole fortnight! Anyway roll on MGP2015 and we'll be doing it for real!
Hi Stu, The only way you will become the "Star" riding a BSA "Otter" Is to keep up this sort of practice every week. Looking at this you have got what it takes Fella!!
