To be consistent, _physics_process() should be -> void
I wish they would integrate visual scripting BACK into Godot natively. Yes I know about ORCHESTRATOR and SCRATCH. But they are addons and not integrated in the engine.

With 4.3 the visual scripting addon orchestrator gets some nice changes which I'm excited about

I am a recent grad in Software engineering and recently began learning Godot on the side of my day job. I hope I'll be able to contribute to it as well in the near future. I truly believe this engine is the next blender of game engines.
Some of this stuff is a bit depressing, e damn man, the window size being the big one, like damn man I was able to dot that in unity
Let's go! After the unity fiasco we need Godot all the more and it's gonna grow all the more. One day we will give unreal a run for their money.
#12 sounds like it's going to irretrievably break my entire project. I have so many cases where a physics body has children which are other physics bodies, which have colliders of their own. Is there documentation somewhere on how this is supposed to work? It doesn't seem to be working on its own in 4.3 Dev6, that's behaving like 4.2.2 is.
Do you know if there is any way to use GoDot Jolt in the new version of Godot 4.3? During installation it gives an error/warning that the version of godot is not supported
Nope u gotta wait for it to be updated. That's the pain of using a third party tool for essential stuff like physics cause the integrated solution sucks :/
Feel more like 4.3 will be like the Frankenstain of features.
Are there any changes to the code when using Jolt? Is it using the exact interface as usual 3D physics in Godot, or do you need to find some documentation on how to code against it?

IG latest version still won't run on Win7 SP1
Your commentary was super funny. Stitches at times, causing me to miss parts of subsequent comments. Also excited for IDE experience improvements. I do "2D integer pixels", but it's all the same really. Godot is insane. Love love love it.

When 4.0 released I was very upset with it and the team. 4.0s release was pretty terrible and was so broken many areas it still felt like an alpha build. Now that we are almost at 4.3 release the engine finally feels like it should have at 4.0s release
Seems similar to python. Python 3.0 was practically a release in name only, you wouldn't ever use it for 'production', but the devs just needed to get it out the door and in the public eye to start iterating with the help of outside feedback.
It's like a dry humour version of fireship :)
Please include the ability to change the camera projection matrix. Switching from Unity and I'm mildly shocked that such a basic 3d graphics 101 ability isn't in the engine. I know that someone has the feature ready.....so please.....
