So I'm not sure if its just because of Andy Byford, but to the MTA's credit they managed to get to this point in about 3 years when it took them about 10 years to get to the same point when they installed CBTC on the 7 - and this is a more complicated project to boot. Hopefully the MTA has now gained enough expertise in CBTC to allow them to be able to complete these projects in shorter timeframes moving forward.

Amazing! I wonder if the L would get a CBTC upgrade, because I think Canarsie ACNTC ain’t as advanced as Flushing, Culver, 53rd Street, and QBL.

CBTC is great but I wonder if those flashing lights start to create a "disco effect" that could be a problem for the operators
