She's gone way too soon. Just thinking how much talent she had and investment trough hard work in the seyuu's world, how many characters she putted trough life... And was still ongoing at 61 with same energy and dedication... I will really miss her. For people who don't know, she was a seiyuu ongoing since the 90', she portrayed so many characters (anime, games dubbing movies...), but to name one (among others) recent and really popular, she was Flamme (Frieren's master) in the anime. Please let an homage, wherever you want, let people know how great she was.

my suggestion is to just go read the webtoon; if you still want to be hyped for season 2, end it at the betrayal chapter. webtoons are super fast and easy to read since you do it at ur own pace and not the pace of a show with voice actors and sound tracks etc. and the app is free! also, the plot is a lot better, deeper and easier to understand in the webtoon

So Netflix has the license for all of Jojo’s including the Rohan OVAs. I’m guessing Crunchyroll has a license for the first 5 parts. Part 1 and 2 are both under season 1 which is why Crunchyroll only shows 4 seasons even though they have 5 parts. The manga has only been been officially translated to about 125 chapters on the Shonen Jump app out of 158 of Stone Ocean (part 6) which is also the latest season that has been animated. Part 9 is just 14 chapters deep as it was just started last year. Part 7 is considered a masterpiece and Part 4 is a fan favorite, even though it is a bit meandering through episodes 6-16. I hope you enjoy it. Season 2 (part 3) the story takes a bit of a left turn and begins to get very interesting dealing with the legacy of part 1. Each part is excellent in its own right but there is a fairly consistent belief that part 1 is the weakest. After you get into it you’ll look back and see the author was finding his footing as a storyteller. And he gets better as a story teller by leaps and bounds by each progressing part. It’s an amazing journey. I’m about 33 chapters into part 7 right now as I couldn’t find a good fan translation until recently. I’m really enjoying it so far. Good luck with your journey. Hopefully I’ll see you with more updates as you progress through the series. It’s well worth it.

This is horrible. I've loved the feature since I can watch any shows I have on BluRay if I'm away from the house. I'll have to look at the boxes, but I don't see how they can advertise that your purchase comes with a download code quite boldly, only to then take away access after it's been redeemed. I built up quite a collection of anime movies and shows pbysically, and large amount came with the redemption codes. Feels like I'm being seriously cheated.

I missed when you uploaded this, I had to go back and check if you posted the review! I really liked the film, and ended up seeing it for a second time (sub first time, dub for the second time). It's in my top 5 Hayao Miyazaki films for sure, and really felt as though the team combined a lot of great things from different Ghibli movies. While it wasn't as linear or easy to follow of a story as some of the greatest Ghibli movies tend to be, I liked the fact that it left a lot up to interpretation. It's more avant garde than any other movie by them I'd say, which was quite nice. I think they utilized every minute of the movie's runtime, and packed in a lot of different ideas, themes, and set pieces. The animation was indeed some of the best they've done. I especially loved the beginning sequence of the main character running through the village. The way the townspeople were drawn was unlike any other movie by them. I'd probably give it more of a 8 or 8.5 out of 10. I'm very glad Miyazaki directed another movie after The Wind Rises, and really hope he makes a couple more!

The anime of One Piece has a big problem, pacing, it releases every week, and for it to not catch up to manga, every episode covers like half a chapter. Everything that happens is dragged out, and there ton of padding. Remake wont have this problem, and One Piece will finally get adaptation it deserves. Also 1000 episodes is a big barrier for entry, and people who are intimidated by that commitment can hop on from episode one. I wanted remake for years, and I could not be happier

I can't comment on your newest short, but enjoy the Death Note play, can't wait to hear your thoughts on ot! I watched the first episode of the One Piece love action, and as a huge One Piece fan, it was actually amazing! I've been watching/reading One Piece for like 15 years at this point and went into the show expecting to be disappointed, but it well exceeded my expectations!
