How do I work with wiki pages(which has .aspx extension) to add my jQuery code similar to how we did in SharePoint designer, since I'm no more allowed to use Designer I'm looking for an alternative way Please help
Unfortunately, you can't add code to a page anymore. You will have to use SPFx.
Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for posting the videos. Facing an issue in visible function - If(itemrequest.status.value.....) isnt working because it is not being able to detect Item request i guess or something else.Tried the same with my container name and form name seperately which also didnt work.
Hi, Thank you for making this video. Please help. In edit form icon the previous data is not populated because on clicking "onboardingListItem" its showing "We didn't find any data" which means that on AppStart thing there is no data linked to "onboardinglistitem".I have checked my data connection, it is linked o the right sharepoint sheet. On filling the form my data is getting recorded in the sharepoint list as well.
Many thanks, great job!!
Also after a booking has been made, I need the information to be presented as a pdf file so that it can be sent, printed etc. by those interested parties. This would be the final stage, is it possible to do?
Yes, this is possible. You have to use power automate. There are tons of videos on it on youtube.
Hi there, hopefully I found the right video. So I have a project to develope and wanted to automate flight, hotel and car rental bookings. Following your video I created columns for each area so obviously the list is longer. Can I do it in this way or should I create 3 separate folders? Next, only 1 person will be able to view the database while the other heads of departments will simply make the booking, so my aprovall stage is not so long. Also, is it possible to autamatically insert a list of names based on the destination? Because each destination will have different people who will go there. Obviosuly the same people will also stay at the hotels or rent the cars or whatever. I tried on my own using dataverse tables, solutions and creating the 3 apps based on the type of booking, but was made aware that it was still too manual, thus I was wondering how to make it less manual possible, like with automatic name insert based on the destination and based on the name the role and department of that person also automatically inserts. For the rest it can be manually typed in, but wanted to automate as much as possible. Right now I've reached "Setting Up Your SharePoint List for Power Apps Travel Request App (Part 1)", so I beleive to be done creating my columns. I would really appreciate your help/step by step guide as on my own and not being able to write code as this app will be shared online with the organization I am restricted to using power automate, power apps, sharepoint etc.
Hi, Thanks for watching my video. I think the way you have it set-up in one list is fine since the bookings will all be done by the same person. It will be easier to retrieve that information when you need it later. In regard to automating the entry of the information, that information will have to be stored in a separate list (name of person, associated destination of person, role, etc.) In your form, you can filter that list based on the name of the person, which would then capture the other associated information. Hope that makes sense.
Ok, I think I get it. I’ll have to try it
@@OptimalTrainingGroup So I am trying but it doesn,t work I am writing a formula in the onchange of the cell where the user will type the person's name and tried to connect the formula to the cell where the destination should pop up. For reference I use (;) as syntax but I am just getting a bunch of errors. Saying that the name of my column in sharepoint is not valid even though the column is literally called name etc. because I am using the lookup function within my formula.
Hello! Your videos have been an excellent resource for my project using Microsoft Forms and Power Automate. I’ve set up a travel and training request process where users submit their requests via Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate handles the workflow. However, the process has become lengthy because supervisors and managers must sign each request. In your setup, I noticed you include a link that directs each approver to their respective form for signing off. How can I create a similar link in the email body of the supervisor's approval request so all leadership can simply click the link and sign off?
Hi, I use deep linking to achieve this. I also have a SharePoint group for all approvers and use it for item level approval as described in this video. Setting Up Item-Level Permissions in Power Apps: The Travel Request Approval Tutorial (Part 2) Once you set up item-level permissions, once you redirect them to the form, it automatically shows them only what they have access to. You can use that to show approve or reject buttons and what the approver needs to see. I hope that makes sense.
I understand what you mean about lists. I use a workflow to hide mine.
For some reason emails to external email adresses doesn't work. Any clues about why?
Maybe the tenant of your organization does not allow emails to external accounts
Amazing video!! This was just what I needed! I was able to adapt your tutorial perfectly- I'm so happy/relieved/giddy with excitement, lol. In my case, rather than multiple containers under one screen, I have multiple forms. I'm not sure if this is best practice (rather than multiple screens), but I'm in too deep now & this video was a lifesaver. Thank youuu!

You have to use the visible property of the fields you want to hide

Do you know How I can create a folder in a One Drive path that was shared to me?
In Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), you can create a folder in OneDrive using the "Create folder" action. Here's how: 1. Add a new step to your flow 2. Search for "OneDrive" and select the "Create folder" action 3. Configure the action: - Select the OneDrive account you want to use - Enter the folder name and path (e.g., "/MyFolder/SubFolder") - Choose whether to overwrite an existing folder (optional) 4. Save and test your flow

Really Thanks for your effort and one of its kind play list, i know the topic in the modern SharePoint development Using SPFX, on premises is killed by Microsoft and the on-prem SPFX version is useless, so that's make the modern development thing is a push for the cloud, but not all the business models policies can consider cloud solutions, so that lead us to a mix in modern and classic pages which is still more power full even with Microsoft greedy push to cloud, so considering vue, it's really a good choice React is dominating and so complicated in its learning curve than vue, so i googled and still googling for a hole list to be a good foundation to specific development road I'll consider and must be evaluated right to go on. Really thanks for your sharing, hope so you can continue and add more advanced stuff to re-balance the development tutorials with React which is dominating vs vue which is more straight foreword and easy for beginners like me to go and build a solid learning curve, my appropriations. Hello, quick question, is there a way you can add a reminder feature in case manager approval hasnt went through, he forgot/didn't see it etc. ? Condition would be 3 days of no answer for example, the approval email would resend itself so he accepts it. Thank you in advance!
You can add a scheduled flow to trigger an email every 3 days

You're welcome. Add it to what?
Is SharPoint's email still susceptible to spam or phishing? If so, what sort of system mechanisms can you put in place to avoid someone infiltrating your system?
Great question! While it's a bit off our main topic, it's important. Yes, SharePoint emails can be susceptible to spam or phishing. To mitigate this, focus on user education on recognizing suspicious emails and you can utilize Microsoft 365’s email filtering tools for spam and phishing protection.

Your Admin needs to enable it for you.
nice explanation
Thank you!
Followed your guidance but it has caused me an issue can you help please? basically I’ve got a new power apps and I want a homepage that you can navigate to a form from.. the form in question I have made a tabbed form using modern insert ‘tab list’ I’m super happy with how this turned out but now I’ve realised that in creating this it has made the form be the first page of my app and not my home page.. when I click ‘App’ -> ‘OnStart’ -> Fx = Set(tabData, Table({TabName:”Customer details”, TabValue:1},{TabName:”Transaction Details”, TabValue:2})) this is obviously why my form is on start of my app however my question is how do I keep the tab formatting I have above but not have it OnStart of my app? Thanks in advance
You can add it to the OnVisible property of the screen the tab is used in. Try that and let me know if that works.
Use the OnVisible property of the screen as mentioned.
@@TheTheinnovatorthank you so much it worked however now I have a blank screen until I click the next button.. I think because I removed ‘UpdateContext({currentTab: 1}) to add this into the Onvisible function… is there anyway to have them both in the function? Thanks in advance!
@@rebeccamayer3602 You may have to add it to the OnStart property but you would have to change updateContext to Set(currentTab, 1), to make it global. You would also have to convert all updateContext for 'currentTab' to Set(). See if that works.
