What a beautiful painting. I really enjoyed watching how you went about giving it some depth, especially the terracotta pots. I find gouache tricky, but I think I need to find a way of using it in a more painterly style rather than illustrative. Do you think you may be able to give that a try in the future? I’d be fascinated to know how to give them a more opaque watercolour appearance…. I’ve admired that Meeden easel for a long time now, and watching how you used it, I can really see just great it could be in the studio, especially if the drawers are filled with the tools and medium you use most often. I noticed the comment from Meeden - this is uncommon, and shows just how much they enjoyed showcasing all of their products. I too have the ceramic double water pot, and find it great. Thank you as always for taking the time to post your videos. I watched this one right after watching the Autumnal hat and leaves. You have such a wide skill set.
