If you want a custom resin bait that is super realistic and some of the best I have ever used and they are super cheap Zorba Baits is his website his biggest bait is 7 3/4 inch and only $70 but he has absolutely top notch custom resin glides
Have the same rod and it’s awesome for most glides, and I am ordering the 806SB now
Gona kill it on the chatters and spinners this time of year🙏
Hell yeah brother hope you enjoyed your first time fishing in Florida. You’ll have to try and convince the fam to take a trip down to Jacksonville, all kinds of great fishing over here!
Nice, I love missle baits, cool channel too I’ll subscribe
@@Michigananglingadventures thanks dude! Really appreciate that!
I love them. If budget is an issue get the rapala precision xtreme maverick they are awesome for half the price 😊
Yes they are worth
@@andrewmazaik8407 just curious, why are they worth the money, in your opinion? (I agree)
@ the entire 110 lineup has an action that hasn’t been replicated ever, it’s unmatched in cold water fishing. The way it darts without a lot of shimmy is what I’m talking about. They might be a bit fragile but that just goes towards creating that action. They’re expensive at 24.99 but you’re also paying to have that edge. I think it’s been the standard for like 25+ years and no company has replicated it yet
Nice video! The 25 bucks is hard to get by but they do produce! Thanks for sharing!
Hey I live in Rochester man are you selling lures
@@nathanbale not currently! What are you interested in?
@ swim baits since I don’t have any due to them being expensive
@@joebobsbass swim baits I don’t have any due to being expensive
@ I get it man. Look for used ones on Facebook. Swimbait universe is a great group with people selling used lures all the time!
@@nathanbale but also, only get one or two to start. Master them. You don’t have to spend a crap ton of money on a load of different baits. Get something that is great in lots of situations like the metro glide. And use a flauro leader if you’re afraid of losing it to any toothy/big fish!
Great rod for the price. But I absolutely dislike the EVA design on the front part of the rod.
Agree! If it was cork I’d love it way more even?
i just buy it and its super and its my first bait caster and next day i get 2,6 kg fish
@@mario258551 heck yah! Tight lines brother

@@michaellong2656 thanks! I’ll give those a try!
You forgot to show us the actual burgers, that are, you know, according to your title, smoking? Another stupid fucking video on youtube.
How far of a cast can you get with a spinnerbait/chatterbait with the Tranx 200?
@@swimjigman953 good question, but not sure how good my answer will be! I mainly use it for swimbaits… however I have used it for jigs, chatter baits, and spinner baits, and I think it casts far… but it’s all about the line you are using and the tuning of the reel. Any reel should cast “far” as long as you are using the proper technique, line, and adjusting the reel to best fit the lure/weight. Hope this helps!
Freeloader
Nice review man most guys don't touch your level of in depth review
@@RandyOney thanks brother! Really appreciate that!
Most young people won't big handle on their reels. Me the round one's is better but the they get large on Lew's and kastking the ABU Garcia are nice two kinds of plastic. I've been wanting this green reel.
I suggest it for sure! It’s far succeeded my expectations for the price!
That 3600 you ate using for terminal tackle , do the hooks stay in right slot if turned upside down?
Those are the best I have 15 of them and absolutely love them no issues at all with them
If you are good/decent with a conventional Reel not so much. I have one and it’s very smooth. Casting is good but not MAGICAL.
@@tphvictims5101 would fully agree. It does still cast a mile!
aglia brown trout, try the thunderbug too and the little wolf spoons, ive been slayin trout for 30 years with mepps, blue fox vibraxs are good too and ilba lures (italian mepps) bladed lures do something different to fish for sure
@@whitetroutchannel thanks for the knowledge my friend! Will have to give these a try. Tight lines!
@@joebobsbass no probs amigo, big up from northern ire. 👍👍🎣
I bought two Kast King Sharky III 5000 reels. I used them about 2 months ago surf fishing and absolutely love how smooth they cast and retrieve. I’m no pro so take it for what it’s worth. I might add I was using 3 and 4 oz pyramid sinkers.
great video can I ask what SIZE your using...#1 #2 #3 etc etc on the mepps and you favorite colors?
Great question! It really just depends what I’m fishing for. Panfish, go smaller, if you’re trying to target bigger fish like bass or pike, you can for sure go bigger. And colors, I love the fire tiger, or a plain gold or silver blade, or dark like purple or black! Hope this helps. Thanks!
such a good idea!! Im going to give that a try! Good luck fishing this weekend, looking forward to the video!
Thanks brother! Tight lines!
The Diawa Crossfire are good reels ( for the money). If that 's your budget, then it should do just fine. Don't really care for the color purple though.
This reel is from Piscifun, and it’s the carbon prism. Only choices were people and teal, and they sent it to me from tiktok to try out. It’s honestly very solid. But yes, the crossfire rods are great (for the price!)
Great review, I’m thinking about buying one from Costco for $799 cdn, $200 off, would you take this kayak on fast moving rivers?
I would for sure take it on the river! I haven’t had mine in any “fast” currents, per se, but I have had it in plenty of creeks and moving water and it does great.
Thanx. Good luck with the videos. Next time go over rod/reel/line and how you work the lure. Favorite colors and when, where to fish them.
Thanks for advice man! Really, I appreciate it! Will do.
You need to show how to rig the pop Shadz properly because it makes a huge difference how far back you rig them. I’ve tried about every hook on the market for these and the 5/0 Grip pin hooks are by far the best and keep the bait from pulling down. This is the most underrated bait on the market down in Florida in my opinion
Have you tried the Berkley Finisher? It’s a different technique that’s tough to figure out
No but I’ll look into it for sure! Thanks for the comment, always looking for new ideas!!
what’s the name of this lake
Like to see one swim… pool test or on the water 🎣
Coming soon!
Nice fish! Even the little ones fight hard in the river
@@RBB-j8y hell yah brother! Twas a fun catch.
This looks like they tried to copy the Booyah Toad Runner.
I’ve fished both and I can tell you the Teckle blows the Booyah out of the water in construction, durability, and action. Worth the extra money IMO.
@@dulac315agree fully. Booyah are not bad, but I think spending a little more can go a long way. Not always, but sometimes. And that’s why I do this! To help you find the ones that matter!
One of my favorites. Very underrated lure.
Title was a bit misleading. I was expecting tackle selections for one box. I travel in my truck, and it is nice to have a small set up with me. Might be a little late to dinner on a few nights.
CXX is good line it’s not really for spinning reels it’s a copolymer but that has no bearing on its diameter, which compared to other lines is way larger. 12LB CXX is like 17LB from other companies..
What lake is this?
Awsome!
Great video! Was in northern Ontario 2 weeks ago and caught 13 fishin 5 hours, pike and smallies mixed on a mepps. They're great!
Thanks brother! Can’t wait to get up and fish Ontario someday!
Good job man keep going also "takle Tuesday" is so good 💯
Thanks man!! Appreciate it!
Roboworms are legit the best hand poured straight tail worm out there. Been using them for 10 years now and they are my go to. Experiment with colors and find out the best color for each body of water you fish.
Love it man! Thanks for the insight and will do, just picked up a few more colors and super stoked to try them out again!
@@joebobsbass Use "Morning Dawn" You'll thank me later.
JBB-Nice video. You hit the nail on the head with the light presentation. The X Zone deception worm is similar. Some days you just need to whisper at them. Hope they bite it for you all summer long 👍
@@littlerich2644 thank you very much! For sure will be throwing these more often! Tight lines brother!
4 is skipping/wind mode bro. Use 2 or 3 for regular use.
Im on 3 all the time. My point is that even on 3, the DC doesn’t seem to prevent a backlash. I backlash far less on my Tranx 200 then I do on my curado DC. I think that says something…
@@joebobsbass it does for me at 3. I even use 1 or 2 for certain things, but you have to thumb it. Just because its a DC doesn't mean you throw thumb control out the window. Im guessing your tension knob is a bit too loose if youre backlashing on 3.
@@joebobsbass Either way, I got ,mine for $130 brand new (error in ebay listing) so couldnt be happier lol
I run my slx at 2 never any issues unless I try to absolutely send the bait across the lake then I might get a quick bird nest.
Started with an slx dc, loved it so much I ordered the 2023 Antares DC MD XG for big swim baits. The biggest problem with DC reels is not having more 😂 I will say my Curado 71 mgl is dope af even if it’s not a dc reel. Anything Shimano will be high quality regardless if it’s a dc or not🤘🏼
@@jorgeez3335 Shimano does RULE! Tight lines brother!
One thing that can't be discounted: the benefit of DC to people learning to use a bait casting reel. I've owned DC reels since they came out...I like them a lot...
@@FurtherNorth absolutely, however I think it kind of takes the “learning” out of it. Practice makes perfect. They absolutely have their time and place, but I think the DC aspect is a bit misleading with how it’s advertised!
@@joebobsbass as you get better, you turn the DC functions down... ...and they're still there when you want them, like all the windy days we've had here this season.
