Have same setup the Overflow is in the top front middle - the 2 nubs on the left & right side are for hooking to extra barrel's if needed you don't want to use those 2 for overflow it will put the water close to your foundation. Let my hose sit in the sun for an hour then slipped it over a push broom handle for 2 days works good.

want better water flow? drill a hole at the top of the rain barrel for air to get in. ever shotgun a beer? the beer doesnt start to rush out of the hole in the bottom of the can until you pop the top open.

@Evan T I tried that as well as laying the hose stretched out with weights on either side. The thing is just junk. I found that the restricted flow through the semi collapsed tube slowed flow somewhat. Even when it was in its most pliable state I feel that it would have been hard to get manipulated from the diverter into the barrel. I'm very happy with the discharge hose. Also a reminder Evan, depending on where you are, you may have to take your system down if the weather in your area gets below freezing in the winter. I plug up my diverter and seal off the nipple on it to make water flow down through the spout. I take the hose out of the barrel and store it indoors. Finally I drain my barrel, flip it over, and wrap it in a tarp to protect it. Having to repeat that hose every year may not be something you want to have to do. Just some food for thought.

Okay now that I've got mine: the white hose that came with it was in the same deformed condition as the one in your video. I ran some hot water through it and it regained shape pretty good, but I still may upgrade hoses.

Thanks for the tip with the Rain Harvest calculator. Your video was great for me to see how this worked. My Lowe's doesn't carry them in store right now and I didn't want to order it without seeing it.

The hose was severely kinked, so I ran a pipe though it, used a hair dryer and let it sit for three days. It now passes water easily, but there must be a way to ship this hose.
