This has been a very successful effort on the part of Republicans. We are now living with the results.

The government is dumbing down the kids. Good example: young cashiers at fast food restaurants can't do basic math to make change. Solely reliant on the computer registers. Went to one today. Total was $7.13. Handed the cashier a $20. Before I could hand her the 13 cents, she had punched in the $20. Instead of taking the 13 cents and giving me $13 back, she hands me the change from the $20 and says, "sorry". Instead of learning basic math skills, they're being taught to rely on the computer to think for them. So the education system is producing more "stupid people" every year. Without better government to enforce the right education, it will get worse.
