bought the GE Profile semi automatic and I love it so far. Haven't used the grinder yet but the shots are great and the steam wand very powerfull

I need an electric perculator with a timer. I bought a perculator, I think it was the Presto one and it doesnt brew long enough to make good coffee. It just gets to boil and stops brewing. It wont be good unless it brews it for a few minutes or so. I dont know whats wrong with all these perculators but Ive literally only seen like 1 decent one on the market, that has a timer, so I bought that one and love it. WTF though? GOd all these other ones suck, or I dont know what Im doing wrong then.

I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing this coffee machine. I purchased a non plumbed model a few years ago and it worked fine. In our new house, we have the plumbed version. It worked for 1 year, then needed to be replaced. A few months later, the 2nd one is now malfunctioning. The local service center is seemingly unable to repair it. At this point, I would happily return it for leas than I paid, but Thermador is not responsive either. Their other appliances (refrigeration, ovens, dishwashers) are very good, but AVOID the coffee machine!!!!

Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau - these coffee machines are essentially the same and are built on the old Bosch platform. Thermador - this is a copy of Neff. Smeg doesn't produce it itself and it has a very old Delongie inside. If you want good coffee and want a built-in design - you only have one choice - Miele. But the same result can be obtained with a regular coffee machine for $1000

Hey, I had the Philips Lattego 3200 for a year and then 3 red lights appeared and it wouldn't work. I kept it clean and did all of the necessary upkeep. What I found out was the Philips doesn't fix their machines. Their customer service number for their coffee machines is horrible, constant disconnects and people you can't understand when you get through. I had them e-mail service companies that would fix my machine and they sent me two. The first said they only fix Philips large appliances and not coffee machines. The second was a sketchy place in the Bronx that couldn't stop dropping the F bomb when speaking to me. Who does that? Anyway, they said it would take 9 months to complete the repair. WTF? Anyway, does anyone out there know of a repair place near Washington D.C.? Thanks.

My machine is even smarter, it gives coffee as it is meant: black! And it only has 1 button. These " modern" machines annoy the hell out of me, fill milk, rinse frother etc etc while I do not take milk in my coffee
